So, what music are you listening to now?

This came up on one of the websites I follow.I hadn't come across this phenomenon before but I liked it.

But then I found an AFF version.well airlines anyway.

And even one with Kazakh cabin crew.

And even in Guernsey which is on my bucket list.

But couldn't find any with QF or VA staff. It is though performed in Paradise AKA the Sunshine coast.

Love it all (except heavy metal)
…favourite memories
- watching Rodrigez / Randy Crawford play at Montreaux music festival (then running into her at our hotel)
- Stones x3 in Melbourne over last 30+ years
- Carol King/James Taylor in Melbourne many years ago and it felt like I was in my loungeroom and they sang to me
- Robbie Williams/Pink live are brilliant
.. and seeing David Sanbourne live at Copenhagen music festival at this gorgeous old house overlooking the beach
.. really really miss live concerts

lovely to see you posting Cossie...;)
In 2004 the Australian Equestrian Endurance Team were in Dubai for the world championships.
We were also there for Australia day and I made an au centric music collection that I played on the deck in my hired jeep at our little party in the desert.
I still have the playlist and sometimes run it while I am working about the farm.
Eric bogle and Redgum featured in my collection … sigh .. memories….
.

More sad news, Chris Bailey has died, only 65, RIP. :(

Not to everyones liking, but The Saints were a huge influence on music in the seventies.

I was thinking this afternoon how in those old days the songs had much nicer lyrics with meaning and no swear words. Ever since this has been playing in my head.

They’d probably now be accused of cultural appropriation and cancelled… sadly (but great song)

Absolutely. And it's a one way street too. Nobody accuses, say, Briggs or the other Australian "rappers/hip-hop artists" of cultural appropriation despite having no connection to the Bronx in NYC or south-central LA.
