and?
Not that I’m aware of, no. I thought exactly the same- hope this is not the “new standard”Is it often the case that the vegetarian offering is just the normal option minus the protein? Seems particularly lazy...
But was the broth vegetarian? Not that I’m aware of, no. I thought exactly the same- hope this is not the “new standard”
It does look tasty and would be great with some kimchi from the buffet. Sometimes the Spice Bar produces some strange products with mincy bits I don't like.I was there about an hour after @serfty and I had the chicken version. I thought it was quite tasty, and since I'm getting iver a cold, some chicken noodle soup hit the spot lol
But I did think this was lazy by the SB - the inly difference being chicken or not.
Same today. Chicken is good although the chicken is a little over cooked. But then, the opposite is worse. Overall a pretty solid 8+/10 (for what it is). It’s not fine dining, but a solid lunch offering.
I never liked that one. Too bitty and bland in the past.View attachment 395475

Actually had a bit of spice without needing to add anything! A tiny portion, and quite salty, but otherwise one of the better dishes I've had from the Spice Bar in the last year or two.

Make mine both! The other for a friend, of-course!Both options looked decent. I went the laksa. Not as good as the offering in the SIN lounges but not bad

I'd rather this as I'm allergic to shellfish so I've never tried it in the F lounge in SINNot as good as the offering in the SIN lounges but not bad
I believe the J lounge there serves the chicken option.I'd rather this as I'm allergic to shellfish so I've never tried it in the F lounge in SIN
I think best to double check as if done authentically will contain shellfish in the sambal paste.I'd rather this as I'm allergic to shellfish so I've never tried it in the F lounge in SIN
