I actually rather enjoy Dom... But each to their own - more for me.

But I have always enjoyed more of the "brut" style

Personal preference most definitely.......and please don't get me wrong, I do drink it and I also don't complain when I drink it.........I just don't pay for it, so if you're offering, penegal.....please don't pass by my offered glass, as I will force myself! ;)

Not suggesting that some people dont legitimately enjoy the Dom; I just dont find that the taste matches the price tag. Why spend over $200 on a bottle, when I can spend $60 on something far more enjoyable.

There been some of blind taste vs open label and price tasting tests/studies done that corroborate this. People naturally tend to rank more expensive items higher.

I wouldn't know much about champagne but I much preferred the EK lounge Moët to the vueve clicquot served on board in J... Though I'd assume the lounge gear is the cheaper stuff...

Pretty sure EK serve Moet onboard in J. Their J lounges have Veuve.

But as we know, peoples tastes differ and we all prefer different things. Life would be pretty boring if we were all the same ;)

I've had a guts full of SQ - they can't give me J saver on Mon PEK-SIN to connect F SIN-MEL- can only get F saver out of PVG then connect - don't you hate that?

PEK dep was going to give me 6hrs lounge play time - PVG dep only 1.5hr connection. I am so over them! :D

:eek: This makes me sad. I was looking forward to trying PH Rare on our trip in September.

That is a significant change! From a luxury champagne to a nice champagne... I wonder what they are serving the J lounge now? With that magnitude of change in F, J might be down to Omni or passion pop!
