I just got my 1st bear. I have done SQ J before but forgot to ask. It's super cute. Staff on ADL to SIN were great last night although cabin was 1/3 full Y was packed though. Xmas decorations on the plane were lovely

I was guested into F lounge but the person guesting me was told they were doing him a favour as strictly speaking he wasn't entitled to guest.

Currently sittting in MEL QF J lounge on my way to Syd to catch SQ222 - 3C and 3D locked in.

So excited!!!

5 pax in suites yesterday and all A seats, and C & D seats had no power. My partner and I were offered to move to 3 & 4F which we took up since these seats were functioning fine. About an hour after take off the CSM came around to us and 2CD offered us a $300 Kris flyer voucher each which was nice.

I was disappointed that we didn't get to share the experience together in CD but it was still an amazing flight and something I'll never forget.

On the way back i have to ask to ask for the bears. We didn't get any on this trip. Off to Hanoi now after sleeping in the J lounge and brekky in TPR

He could have been travelling business class. I was in economy on MI.

Doesnt make sense Johnny - would be a miracle if pax holding J BP can get someone into F section - it is guarded like a fottress.

Asked this in the "Meet me at SQ lounge" thread - but now am curious - are you able to guest at Changi if you are flying Suites but not *A status?

Holding the Suites (R) BP gives you the right to guest 1 pax into F section - nothing to do with *A status. Pax you want to guest into F must hold same day dep BP on SQ or MI or any *A airline.

Only way i can think of would be PPS Solitaire, but guesting is supposed to be family only. Maybe that was the favour (non-family?)

PPS Solitaire?

PPS club is a $ based loyalty scheme from SQ. SGD25K spend a year required. PPS Solitaire can with a minimum SGD250k spend within a 5 year period.

Could be I have no idea - never had any status above Elite Gold with SQ and given how easy F/J redpts are to get prolly never will either. Did you know your host? Didn't he/she indicate how your entry was achieved?

Yes I did know my host. He thought he could guest me into F Lounge. The lady at reception said technically he was not entitled to guest me into F Lounge but they did him a favour. Worth a shot otherwise we go to SilverKris lounge.

To be honest though I do not understand the commotion. The T2 F lounge is not that different to the SilverKris lounges. It is not like the difference between SYD QF F lounge and QF business lounge. Can't quite understand why SQ would want to guard the F lounge like a fortress.
