Hi all I have made a award booking with Virgin flying Buisness class( first time ) from Adelaide to Singapore with Singapore airlines to spend a couple of weeks there on a family holiday in July, We have then decided we would like to spend a few days in Langkawi, so thought it may be best to fly through to Langkawi, and take full advantage of the business flight. Can anyone let me know if it is possible to make that change? And any tips for maximising our Buisness class flight with Singapore airlines
many thanks

No. It is easier as if you need a domestic connection you do not have to catch a bus and if your flight is late that you dont get diverted to another city due to the curfew.

sure- and i'm only guessing - but i reckon the volume of flights from SYD may be higher than MEL hence the necessity for more gates, runways and hence terminals though?

Seriously? A SYD v MEL / mine is bigger than yours discussion? Maybe I have been misguided but I was under the impression AFFers are way too mature to indulge is such childish antics!

Re new 380 Suites - KF staff as yet have not been briefed as to which flts will be slotted - I will update 1 minute after I hear and get my 1st rdpt confirmed.

The real question is how many reward seats are redeemable per flight, with the new 6 suites configuration- I'm guessing 2...

Hi,

Currently have a standard award confirmed SYD to ZRH.

Just had a saver waitlist clear for SIN to ZRH and can also see SYD to SIN saver is available.

Called contact center and tried to convert standard award into a saver award, they said they could book each leg seperately on saver but not the whole thing as its not available. Logically the seats are there for both legs, but for some reason they can't book the whole sector, should I keep trying with a different contact centre rep? Any tips would be appreciated!

Can you book it on line yourself as a through ticket SYD-ZRH?

No unfortunately not, I get the error "There are no flights available for the criteria you selected. Please change the search criteria and try again."

Looking at the filled seats SIN-ZRH there is only 1 free seat.

Looking for some help from the learned people here.

I am trying to book SYD-SIN-ICN departing on 09/05 and returning on 25/05 in First. There is seats available SYD-SIN and ICN-SIN-SYD but on the 10/05 there is only a waitlist saver J or a standard J. When I first started this conversation with the phone centre, there was also Y and PY. They kept saying the only way they could book it was waitlist the whole thing or book SYD-SIN, SIN-ICN and ICN-SYD as 3 different redemption's (which meant a lot higher points and triple the taxes).

All the Y and PY have gone now and I am banging my head on the wall trying to work it out. What should I do?
