Hmmm I now have this for my August MEL-SIN-FRA flights

I'm assuming that's as I'm losing my old Suites booking SIN-FRA

:(

It letting me change for free to an earlier day

I think I'll leave it for now and see...
I've read somewhere that FRA would not be getting Suites anymore - can't seems to find the article this morning :(

Correct. And it almost certainly wouldn't make sense to maintain SQ25/26 as an A380 service just for SIN-FRA, but not FRA-JFK, as then SQ would need to base a 77W in FRA to serve FRA-JFK-FRA, or redirect SQ325/6 to JFK.

The SQ release here:

Now that is Customer Loyalty working both ways - very nice. Can you imagine a local Australian based Airline with International operations doing that?

haha.. never

such a pity.
I flew suites from FRA to SIN in Sept and there was a lady onboard why was flying Suites from JFK to SIN on Suites just for 1 meeting and signing some contracts in SIN, and going back to JFK the same way. she only did it as she could fly Suites, sounded like a regular too

What the Lord giveth the Lord also taketh away.

Some say upgrade F 777 to R 380 - downgrade R 380 to F 777 - meh don’t care much for new R personally - have now copped 2 each way - if it was old R then I would be seriously ecstatic / disappointed but it is what it is - still way too much demand going forward into 2023 I cannot see relief right through next year.

And sprinkling of F Adv availability and appears fair to good availability J Savers and Adv obviously dependant on route and dates 👍

So my fav route into Europe is not quite as good anymore post October 2023

Frankfurt
SQ26 777
SQ326 A350

That being said 777 J is my favourite J

Wonder where that A380 will go after the MEL-SYD jaunts

Plus side is out of MEL
SQ208 - 777
SQ218 - A350 Long haul
SQ228 - 777
SQ238 - A350 Regional

Was happy yesterday when our MEL-SIN flight 17 May changed to A380, then today a little disappointed SIN-FRA SQ26 has changed from A380 to B777.
Never mind.

Same thing here for one of my flights - However the 777 is my favourite aircraft (as one of the last good Boeing aircraft)

The seating in both J and F on the 777 is the best IMO

I love the 777 F cabin and when you have the whole cabin booked for your family of 4 it's even better.

Plus being a night flight can sleep for most of it

Agree 777 is fine up front, but IMHO it is less pleasant the further back you go.
Depends on airline, but some of my worst flights have been Y on 777. Very loud.

On this trip we are in PE, and the sad part is we were moved by SQ from 2 seats on the side of A380, to 2 in the middle on the SIN-FRA SQ26.
Checked availability and at least for the moment, it seems this is where we will be.
