is it possible to check points after a transaction is not pending anymore (like amex)?
or do you have to wait for a monthly statement?

two confirmed transactions but points balance is still 0

Where do you see the points balance? Mine rolled over past the first statement yesterday and it still won't produce an e-statement for me inside the account and nothing has transferred to my qantas account. A Joke of a set up.

Found it. Log in via a desktop and there will be a link on the right to amplify rewards click that and you will see balance. Click again and you can see per transaction

Mine doesn’t say Kris Flyer/Virgin either but they are the Points/Miles I wanted as they tend to have a far higher redemption value for me especially the Kris Miles.

Can't see that, maybe because mine's qantas. On a positive note the statement did appear. Back end of this thing seems very antiquated.

aah right. sorry didn't realise it'd be different for QFF and amplify points

Having had both, unfortunately you cannot see your current QFF points balance if you have selected QFF.
I don't know if there's any non-Amex QFF cards that do show the coughulative QFF balance. They only show it in the statement - that's my experience with a few providers now.

ANZ do

Ok I found the points earned by logging on with a pc. I have received the bonus and so I am happy with that.
My only problem is the funds transfer Westpac to St George (Westpac) takes too long.

Just after midnight the money transfer made it from Westpac to St George so that is about 30 hours. I guess it it helps Westpac make money.

The rewards and frequent flyer versions for ANZ are separate so you can get bonuses for both.
