I applied for the St. George, the card should be in the mail which makes it impossible to spend by the 30/04 to get the points. Think I'll ring them today, not going ahead with it if the 60k won't be coming my way

Slightly off the topic, but referring back to some earlier posts, is the phone Westpac call centre for the Altitude Black Card and 60,000 QF points still available?

I don't believe it is still available, $0 annual fee for the first year is still available but no bonus points. Best way to confirm would be to call.

I don't recall the fine print on this one but in my experience with previous cards, the requirement is simply to be approved by a certain date and then spend within, say, three months. Might be worth checking.

I called them today and it has been extended to the end of May, have to use it by then to get the points

How long did people have to wait from first spend to points being credited?

I'm still waiting for my card. Completed the ID check in a branch 3 weeks ago. Called to check on delivery progress today, and was told that the branch failed to order the cards.

Classic St George run around. I'm out as soon as the points drop.

Agree with sentiment; very underwhelming experience.

I'm expecting my points in my statement that will be generated over night - will report tomorrow.

When i got my id verified I had the card within 5 days. Found them to be good service, once I receive my 60k I'll close it.

No, still waiting. Card is gone once the points hit.

For me it will be 6 months till I cancel - when the 0% balance transfer finishes. The BT more than covers the initial anual fee.

Very frustrating. First purchase was 9 February and statement issued 11 May (full three months later) doesn't have the points. I'll have to call them today...

I spoke to St George this morning and they said that the points have generally been posted after 3 months and therefore on the next statement. Was advised to just wait for the next statement and they should be on that and when I asked can we please make sure they are I was told I would have to call another number after 9am to request this.

Another underwhelming experience.

Just like Jordan statement four just issued covering period of three months since first spend and no points either. I suppose I need to get on the phone to try and track them down as well :(

The terms provided for the bonus points when my account was opened are clear:

"The bonus points will be added to your points balance (Amplify Rewards or Qantas Frequent Flyer membership account) within three months after the first purchase transaction is debited to your account."

So if it's longer than three months they are in breach of the stated requirements and everyone should be onto them straight away.

My points are due on the 25th of this month. If they aren't credited St George are going to know about it! I need to cancel this card in order to take up the other opportunities that have emerged recently (EG. Cth Bank and Jetstar).
