Ha! I posted a question on twitter and they told me to contact Qantas!! Why would I contact Qantas? Statement clearly shows no bonus points earned this month.

Further update. Called 133330 as instructed by the St George twitterer. They couldn't help so they put me through to Visa Concierge or something and they couldn't help. They said call the number on the back of the card (why didn't I do that in the first place?) -1300 851 324. Young Ross looked at my account, saw my first transaction was Jan 31 said "yes, you should have had those points by now, I'll contact admin and be back to you within 48 hours."

Stay tuned...

I also am having a problem getting my 60k points first transaction 22nd of January still nothing. Have made 4 phone calls and twice got put through to Qantas. Other times told admin would be notified and still waiting. St George in general have been very dissapointing from waiting 3 weeks for card and documents to come now they can't even follow their own terms and conditions, never visiting this mob again

Add me to that list of unhappy customers.
First purchase back in January. Still no 60,000 points.
Called last week, "we will have someone call you within 48 hours" - no call.
Called yesterday "you need to talk to Qantas - here is their number"
Qantas - they have to authorise, please wait while I call them. (FYI Qantas guy was GREAT) he was told points will post 3 - 4 months from activation.
Great, but it has now been 5 months. So he tells me to go to St George branch, get them to write on letterhead that I have not received the points, email to FF and then he can post the points.
Go to branch today - sorry we cant do that, let me make a call........
Some one will call me within 48 hours and the points will be posted to your account.

Let's see how this pans out. But I am also inclined to cancel card once points post, I don't need to be treated like this over something that should just happen automatically.

I'm pleased to report that I've had my 60,000 points posted yesterday, despite my first purchase being just 7 weeks ago in late March.

My statement date is 19th month...original T&C said "up to 3 months from", so officially they have another month to go, but if nothing in the next couple of days, I will phone.

I finally got my card yesterday. Made my first purchase today. Any delay with points posting after the 3 month period, and I'll probably make one call - and if it's not resolved, I'll go to the Ombudsman. I'm already sick of chasing St George up.

I called them re the 60,000 points and was transferred through to Qantas...I called St George back and was transferred everywhere, finally I was able to speak to someone vaguely reasonable who said the points would be posted exactly 3 months after you make your first purchase, not 3 months after you receive or activate the card...and she gave me some numbers to call if necessary: call 1300 30 40 40, press option 1, then option 3. The other two numbers are 1300 489 586 and 1300 851 324. I havent called any of these numbers yet as I have to wait a bit longer for my 3 months to pass. Hope this helps.

My first purchases were made on the 21st January and 23rd January. Certainly more than 3 months have gone by.

I will definitely be cancelling mine the day the points hit my QFF and I'll be making it clear that the reason I'm cancelling immediately after the points were posted was because of the poor experience I've had.

Heh also 4 months since first transaction here.
Most helpful person I got was by calling number on back of card then ask immediately for a supervisor called Raj. After a day he actually called me back! Now they are apparently sending the points manually, obvious they have no automated system for this and you have to beg for them. Will update soon.

Just spoke to Chris on the 1300851324 number. Yes, we're having problems, yes we're aware it's being discussed online. Yes you should have had them posted by now. I'll put you on hold for a short while. And a short while later Chris came back to tell me it's an issue with Qantas FF system being unable to post (accept?) the points. Qantas is also aware of the problem. Blah blah blah. They will be on your June statement. I don't really care about the statement, I just want them in my QFF account asap. Sometime between now and June 12 they may or may not appear...

Hi I have also had some issues, been more than 3 months still no points, I phone them up and they said they would get back to me within 5 business days. I have had a couple of missed calls today which i guess was from them but no message left. Hopefully it will be sorted soon, its the only credit card I have had that hasn't promptly posted the points.

fyi

my 60k points reached my qff account this morning.

Was only 1-2 months.

You are most fortunate and don't seem to be the usually expeience people are reporting. Just about to hit 3 months for me and no points yet.

Just received response via Facebook

St.George BankHi Belinda, thank you for your feedback. We can confirm that you will receive these points in your June statement. Regards, Gia.

It's disappointing isn't it. We shouldn't have to stress over this at all. We all paid the annual fee and they should be honouring the points deal, without us having to chase it up.
