I thought it was government payment water and trains and no points?

There may be exclusions for qualifying for sign on bonus points, but the St George range of signature cards (Bank of Melb, Bank SA etc) pays points for everything. It’s well know in business threads;)

I won’t churn this CC because I am getting 0.825 points on everything I put on it. No other CC does this in Australia.

The Coles mastercard platinum gives 2 FB points equivalent to 0.87 Velocity points for every $ spent. Am I missing something here or the reference is to some other points ?

no. if you're sticking to velocity only.
this also gives other airline options

you would also get the 15% bonuses etc too on top of the 0.87 VFF?

Yes , the bonus component is there however the annual cap of 138000 FB points to velocity points transfer does seem to be an issue at times.

thats a very large hindrance IMO

I have it with Citi signature.....
So If I don't have the St George active.... I can't use the priority pass they send?

I don't know about now, but in the past I have had up to three or four PP's at once. (All from different CC's).

Regarding payment of Sign on Points. I went the Platinum card for 60k points for $49 fee and due to a mix up and having to visit a branch ended up with a BOM card (talked up thread).

I made the minimum payment in the 2nd month and on the 2nd month payments (which seem to be always on the 18th) no bonus points. Waited until the 3rd month (2 days ago). Nothing. Bugger.

Then I see a person I referred to this card who also met the minimum payment on the 2nd month received their 60k points. More bugger.

I rang up and the CSO explained that they assuming the minimum payment is made that they pay the points on the following statement (i.e 18th) after 90 days since the card was opened...and my 90th day was a yesterday. So looks like I have to wait until next month. Naturally I did the "How come she got" routine which I TBH knew was an exercise in hot air....and it was.

I applied for the Amplify Platinum in August. I haven't yet got my bonus points. They were due to be credited to my account yesterday (the full 12 weeks after reaching the spend).

Is there any way to check online to see if they have been credited to my account or do I have to wait for the statement - which is due in 2 weeks?

Have you gone into the rewards bit of the site? Sometimes they show there before the main page.

I can't see any option available to see REWARDS.

This is for Qantas points if it makes any difference.
This thread is for Amplify rewards, not Amplify Qantas.
For Amplify Qantas - and in your case, you have to wait for the statement.
Amplify Rewards shows you when you log in, usually for everything up until the previous 1 or 2 days' worth of transactions.

Just received my 4th statement. No bonus points awarded. Anyone else not get their points within the stated time frame?
