Strategy to obtain US Amex

Was approved for Capital 1 Venture X using ITIN. Had to upload a copy of passport and ITIN and approved same day. I was at 4/24 and 1/12.
Is it with MYUS address? Cap1 shows MyUs as a forwarding agent.

Personal. I believe you can still open online with ITIN. Someone opened one a few months back. I heard about several succesful applications after I posted about it. Give it a try.
Definitely works with ITIN and Personal. I opened it online and had no issues.

I used my friend's address.
So assume that you can’t use a forwarder’s address like MyUS with Cap one?

Their Venture X card sounds really good and I’m keen on getting that once I sort out an ITIN. But looks like address might be a showstopper.

… Sent Daniel an email few days ago but haven’t got a reply yet …
Daniel has responded to my emails when he was able. Tuesday (our time) was the MLK Day holiday, and it’s only Thursday night in the US now. Patience Grasshopper. 😉

Thanks mate, wasn’t aware of that. Got a bit excited to kick things along. Will give him a few more days to respond.

US tax year ended Dec 31st… so a real busy time for accountants. Down under 30th June EFOY accounts will be busy with taxes.

He will get back, yes Mon was a public holiday MLK day in US.

I've been using them for years and been working well. I signed up when they still were offering the letter service. It's quite expensive. I've ordered something online in the US which I will have forwarded shortly. Primarily have it as an address for US CC's. I have cards with Amex and Citi. Open to ideas on who else might be just as reliable but less expensive to maintain over time and can also do "normal" postal mail and isn't on any blackban lists of known mail forwarding services to whom financial institutions won't send cards. I know I'm asking alot. Thanks in advance if there is anything else which fits the bill.

Mind me asking roughly what you pay for the services?

$US25/month - so it's adding up - adds $A400pa in "shadow"credit card fees.

Is this actually a good price?

Anyone used MyUS Forwarding.
I see alot of people saying they wont forward letters?
The problem seems to arise with United States Postal Service ordinary letters/articles addressed to MyUS. There’s a USPS Form 1583 which MyUS previously accepted as part of the Premium+Mail account option. However, they seem to no longer offer Premium+Mail for new MyUS account applications.

I have experienced some letters getting through, however, but there’s no guarantee.

There’s no issues with any item that is courier-delivered to My US, such as higher-end credit cards (e.g., Amex Aspire, Bonvoy, Platinum), but the lower-end cards that are sent by ordinary mail via the USPS to MyUS may have problems and may be RTS or destroyed.
