Strategy to obtain US Amex

Ok I did the notarycam and got a transaction ID from the notary. What do I do now? Does Amex automatically send the card to Australia? Or do I have to chase them up again? I didn't have the full credit card number, I had to put 9999999999999.
No action required based on my experience.

Do you have a quick post on how to perform this?
I was really tryingt o get this done before i travel but seems im kinda doomed now haha
Thanks for this mate, any tips or direction on how i can go about this?

Also are people still having issues with Global transfer and MyUS being flagged?
I recently completed my Marriott platinum challenge and want to get the credit card for next year when it resets.

Hi everyone,
I have the Aspire card, and with regards to the Priority Pass card, we do get a physical card when we enrol right ? If so, has it been successfully delivered to MyUS addresses ? (Does Priority include the Suite number ?)
Once you enroll for Priority pass within your Amex login in the Rewards and Benefits section - > Benefits. You will be able to see your priority pass number. Not sure how long you need to wait but I guess no less than a week.
Once you have the PP number in your Amex login you can download the PP app on your phone and register it by calling Priority Pass for a code. PP will validate whether the PP number is linked to the correct amex and give you a code. It is a very simple process. You get a QR code in your PP App which you can show to a lounge that accepts PP.

Thank you for the reply Igreen.
Is the PP call centre in the US or somewhere else ?
And is their phone number listed on the AMEX account ?

With my 3x Amex credit cards, by GT, over the past 2-plus years, MyUS has not been an issue with Amex.
Hoping to get some advice on doing a global transfer if i can please.
With the MyUS did you purchase a particular product? and when was the last time you did a GT.

They automatically flagged my MyUS but not sure if i did the process one.
Also how did you go about doing the Global transfer i mayve done it incorrectly

I log into my Oz Amex account>Moving abroad? Transfer your card>USA>Apply for your new Card online:>Select your preferred card from our Personal Card …>

The application field will be pre-populated with some of your details.

My most recent GT was probably March this year.

I have the “basic” annual fee MyUS product

Is it important to have the address one intends to use for a new card application ( my us and chase in my case ) linked to existing accounts much in advance to increase chances of success ?

Experian gets the details after your credit card statement posts. So you may have to charge something to generate a statement. Not sure how long it takes, maybe a few days. I think most of them pull Experian.

In other news I was able to get Amex to send the Delta Gold card to Australia, should be arriving 4 July but I didn't get a tracking number. It takes a day or so for them to find the notarycam verification. I waited until Monday so it was a business day for them. I can meet that minimum spend with the final payment on my Princess cruise but worried the cruise may get cancelled because it is going to PNG. I hope Amex doesn't claw back the points. I have to make the payment early Sept. There have been issues with longer cruises being cancelled for Covid reasons so it would not be my choice.

Do you know if an actual physical statement needs to be mailed out to address or will an e-statement do as well ?
