i am thinking to cancel the subscription. do we get full refund if cancel within 30 days of subscription as i am still not see my amex credit?
I can’t recall. Possibly. Seeing as how I received the $99 credit, I plan to cancel before the 12 months.

Yes. Refund available within 30 days. I just checked my screenshots. This was from 29th Jan, at the time that I took out the subscription:

I think Amex credit will come eventually. They have been rather slow on all credits this month including free credit for BestBuy,Homedepot,Homechef and Paypal on Plat card and all these dining and wireless credits. If not, it should be easy to chase.

Got my Chase points from Fool today. Purchase on Jan 28 so I was lucky. I read somewhere that Swagbucks still works even though it says it doesn't stack with other Fool promo. I just made a purchase on my additonal card. Will see if I will get 5000 swag bucks which is equal to both $50AUD and $50USD...weird lol It has been tracked and is pending now.

Just got $10 + $20 Starbucks credits on Bonvoy and Aspire. Also got $15 Wireless credit on Bonvoy biz from topping up T-mobile. Amex plat also gives $100 bestbuy credit which I will probably buy T-mobile topup card. At this point, I can keep the number for 7 years and 4 months. Thankfully I can make use of $30/m Paypal credit or I will have extra 5 years with T-mobile. 😆 Didn't think about keeping the number this long but at least I will be able to get more Google voice numbers.
which T mobile service are you using? is it the $3/month one prepaid pay as you go one?
when I topup the service, it says available for 3 months. does it mean after 3 months the top up amount will be lost if i don't use all?

My new Chase card declined yesterday trying to buy a Vietnamese roll and also at Woolworths. Just now had a missed call and then voicemail from Chase fraud department. Anyone had experience with Chase and know what they will ask/require? Just say yes it was me trying to buy lunch in Australia? Do they ask if you are travelling or moved etc?

Yes $3/m pay as you go. This plan is a weird one and difficult to find info now. Your credit will not expire as long as you have at least $3 there for them to take each month. ie if you top up $21, you can forget about it for 7 months even though it says credit expires after 30 days or 90 days.

Mine was an online transaction so might be a bit different and they asked if I used the card at Australian Tax Office lol I did pay a bit of fee to help meet the minimum. They just wanted to make sure it was you I believe.

On the phone now and have been put on a long hold. Can’t receive in person texts so probably a red flag so then they asked other questions and it was how long did you live at a previous address and I had not heard of and how long did you live in an address I had not heard of. The operator just came back online and said someone will call you in the next 24-48 hours. Not feeling good about this one and hopefully the ITIN is not dodgy or something.

Also said best not use your card and account is under review. Also Apple Pay just removed my card without me doing it. 😬 my Chase career might be over.

Locked out of online banking now also.

After my csp was approved before I receive the card. I received call from chase in the middle of the night, calling from fraud or account verification department(not sure which department). Asking me questions similar to yours like previous address etc. after the phone call I was thinking whether it is fraud call. I called back to chase and rep told me it is calling from chase. After this no more problems. I am always using apply pay until now.
Are you using physics cards or Apple Pay? Large spend recently? How did you pay your chase account? From us bank account?

Been using Apple Pay and no transactions over $200USD and did a test payment of $10USD using Capital One checking account that came through no issues. Did they ask about addresses you had never heard of also?

If my iPlum number could receive in person texts from Chase maybe no issues but now have a bad feeling. She said answers will be recorded so have me saying never heard of address or work they mentioned.

Sounds a bit like FR. Did you buy gift cards? and how many accounts you opened recently?

Yes they asked 3-4 questions. Cannot remember all but i am sure there is a question about a address I never lived at all.

Any prepaid mobile service cannot receive chase in person texts. Even t Mobile prepaid or ultra mobile paygo cannot receive chase personal texts. Only postpaid service can receive it. postpaid service requires ssn check.

T-mobile prepaid blocks short codes by default. Need to call them to enable it. That "might" work.

I don't have any experience with this but this might help Chase Account Freeze due to Financial Review - Doctor Of Credit

Hope it turns out ok.
Thanks good article to read. Chase seems like too much hard work to be honest and as you said the cards are overrated and the IHG card is the only one I see big value in with 4th night free and 40K cert for $89 annual fee. CSP and CSR both earn rates are equal of worst than Amex Green so what other teams be would be useful?

I think it's the Chase Trifecta that makes them popular. ie Freedom Flex normally offer 5% cashback on categories rotating every quarter. Cashback is in the form of points but cannot be transfered to airlines/hotels but if you have CSR or CRP, points can be combined nd transfered to partners. Basically you can get 5x points on a lot of categories. It's kinda useless to us as Freedom cards have 3% foreign transaction fee.

I will get Hyatt about 3 months after IHG and will forget about them for a while. With ITIN, I could try do more business cards with Amex. It's normally easier to deal with Chase if you have a longer credit history. If I had to guess, your issue could be the length of history. Hope you get the account back after the review.

My last 2 applications with Chase, they did 2 hard pulls on my credit file sheesh. While some people successfully got them to remove, I was told it was normal.
