Strategy to obtain US Amex

For me too. Received credit of $20 each on Bonvoy and Aspire cards. Also received $99 credit on Aspire for Motley fool. Waiting too see if the purchase is eligible for Alaska air bonus points.
As a DP I loaded my Starbucks account on their website and it triggered the credit.

If you purchase Alaska points is the transaction through Alaska or transacted through Points.com? If it's Points.com which is normally the case when buying points, I doubt that would qualify for the airline credit.

Which card receive Alaska airline bonus points?
Not directly, but through their shopping portal.

Didn't purchase points, but subscribed for Motley fool subscription as I had an offer of spend $99 to get $99, through MileagePlanShopping portal.

Has anyone pondered/tried opening AMEX's HY Savings account? Curious to see what the steps that took people to get this.

If you got a CA or CC with them, you can setup a PIN so that you can withdraw money from the ATMs.

I inquired about it a long time ago. I don't have SSN so they outright refused. Asked if I could apply under the same policy which allows us to have cards but it was a flat out "no" :(

Has anyone added their CC to a paypal account? Just wondering if any issues might arise using the aussie paypal since the billing address has to be australian.

Thanks Mrsquare. Yes I had a look at most the named mentioned above. Yakpay have the best rates for Visa/MC hence I used them for their Amex. But lessons learnt.
Quick Update:
The dispute Cash Advance Fee went in my favour as a good will jesture. Lesson is not to use Yakpay for Amex US card. SNIIP went as a normal transaction on the US Amex.

Have anyone have used non Amex cards such as chase/Citi/ etc on payment platforms such as Rewards pay, Yakpay etc. Was it treated as cash advance?
