Strategy to obtain US Amex

P2 got ITIN. Applied another Amex with ITIN - 90 days since 1st GT and got rejected. Reason "The length of time is too short since the first account on your credit report was opened. (TransUnion)" Can someone give me guidance on what should be the next action- applied something else or call for recon? Card applied is the fee free Amex Everyday card.

You can setup an eSim Tello and use WiFi calling/text - it works fine. Remember you pay to "receive" calls (unlike Australia). $10 free with Referral code: P38SCK55

If it is your first business card, you need to make a new login with the business card then call Chase to get your personal cards added to your business login. They will then appear on your business login; the opposite is not possible.
It’s my first biz card . I can’t seem to create a biz profile . It says my ssn ( itin ) is incorrect and I get the message this part of website is not working . Do I need to use a vpn ?

Been so long since I set it up. If in doubt, I'd call in during US business hours — I've had to call in for a few tech issues and they seem to generally know how to help.

100% need to call. Explain to them that you cannot create a biz profile as you don't have a SSN but an ITIN. If they don't understand either ask to be transferred or hang up and try again

Does anyone know if purchases on the officeworks website through PayPal using the ink cash still code as 5 x ? Using the card directly does not work - the payment does not process.

Im confused, ho we did you even get to that page without uploading your documents?

Mine are all uploaded but not submitted to IRS yet.

Minor update again. Called today and seems nothing has changed - application is being processed over the next 1-2 weeks and will receive the card or letter in the mail.

Don’t get why it’s taking so long but hurry up and wait I guess
Ok, today marks 2 weeks since application and docs submitted and Chase said they are still reviewing the documents and will get back to me in 1-2 weeks with a decision.

Need some advice here. CS agent and verification agent seems unable to transfer me to anyone else or expedite the process. This seems unusual compared to the other DPs here.

Two updates on HSBC
1. Holding my breath as I spend 1285 AUD on 5x Coles Mastercard prepaid at Coles at 7am in the morning to try and get 20,000 fly buys points + 3x back on groceries - success. Amazingly the transaction was approved.
2. Trying to use mastercard gift cards to pay ATO - card declined by issuer.

Anyone have any advice?

Edit: Fraud alert from HSBC
