So mate got his upgrade came thru 24hrs early Mel-Bris 3000points and $180....worth it?
Its his first time in any business class so does he get the following:
Extra Status Credit(current bronze) NO same as original class booked
Extra bags allowance Yes Corect
Priority checkin Yes Corect
QF Lounge access only leaving not arriving? Yes Corect
Can he choose his window seat? Yes but only if available
Ask to consume as much food and drink as they have throughout the 2hr flight? Yes but wont be allowed to become intoxicated
Any thing else to be aware of? Priority Boarding and just remember to smile and be nice.

To cap it off, it was an A332 with the new J suites.
