In July/Aug I was fortunate to do 4 flights in suites SYD-SIN-LHR ZRH-SIN-SYD, and it was never full. So, I wonder what is the chance of a WL clearing? It should be very good based on my limited experience.

Don't hold your breath. They are very protective of their premium products. Very rare to see op ups as well.
On a seperate note I hear on the grape vine ( please excuse the pun) that they are serving a new bubbles in the TPR. Anyone there to comment ?

Big boots to fill - PH Rare best I have experienced - maybe I just became addicted to it? Will have road tested new offering by this time Monday morn and will report back.

Keen to hear what you think. Given our love of the standard CH, this one will hopefully be a winner.

Never had it myself but some friends in Blighty say it's a stunner

Hi all

I have done some research on the forums in regards to entry to TPR, but I am unsure of the actual rules.
Basically I wish to book return First/Suite award tickets from PER-SIN-LHR return. (the PER-SIN leg only has max J, SIN-LHR - max Suites/First). I know that prior to a Suites/First flight I will be able to use TPR, and also arriving in on a F/Suite flight I can use it on arrival.

Now my question. How about 1) transit from F/Suite to Business (yes?), 2) stopover from F/Suites - and then <24hours J, or 24-48hours J.

Thanks

If you have paid F rates for a mixed class rdpt booking then you enjoy F benefits for entirety of that booking - not maybe - unequivocally YES - no matter how long the stopover is. Clearly if you arrive into SIN in R or F then stopover for any length and you are wanting to enter F section then TPR and you are holding J BP you will need to explain to staff at SKL entrance of your situation.

I've never booked a suite so am still feeling my way around the SQ site. Looking at some dates I want for next year, I only see Saver (O) as a wait list and Standard redemptions available. Is this because R awards have not been released yet and I should keep checking, perhaps closer to departure date?
Maybe I'm getting confused and O is the class I should be booking into and putting my name on the wait list.

Just another question to those who have flown suites/first.

1) Does LHR-SIN SQ317 - departing 11:25 provide lunch/dinner, with caviar for both?
2) Does LHR-SIN SQ321 - departing 22:05 provide dinner/breakfast (or supper/breakfast?), with caviar for both?

Thank you

Caviar is offered once on each menu. However if you don't want it for the suggested meal you can ask to save it for later (or maybe another passenger doesn't want theirs in which case you can have two lots).

@ Buzzard - both SQ Suites (R) and First Class (F) book into (O) class - as you no doubt aware Suites only on 380 - all others First Class.

I'm a bit like you Buzz, and just feeling my way around the whole thing, but am I misunderstanding the fare here? I'm not looking at booking class, I just click on the selection and it shows the cabin.......see below, I chose a dummy date and found a flight, checked the the fare (150000 miles) and up came the text "suites saver" in the top right corner of the flight information box. Does this not reflect the cabin class you're about to book into?

click on the right hand box and it will change to standard. (don't ever book standard unless you have no flexibility in your dates!)

buzz - waitlist suggests the cabin is full according to redemptions - either people have booked the redemption seats that SQ made available, or the cabin is already full from revenue bookings.

The different 'prices' (points required) reflect availability, not your class of service on board. Suites is suites, but the airline is allocating more availability to those willing to pay more.

They can also show as waitlist before the seat has been released if you are looking at the further available dates. Ie you can view the last date before the seat is available.
