Have done QF MH, Thai and EK A380 F in last 12 months as well as EY suites on 777ER

Really looking forward to SG. Maybe will try to switch to LH A380 F via F Class terminal in FRA if seats become available on way home.

Nice. Do you do trip reports? Would be interested to hear the comparative highs and lows across them all.

also- how are you booking LH? USDM?

The easy question /answer is the champagne in Suites.....there are two namely Krug and Dom Perignon.

Have never wait listed but I have called and found very helpful staff on 02 93500203.
They have visibility of the seats taken on your wait listed flight.
I have been doing one Saver and one Standard on my flights to London and Los Angeles instead of being held in limbo.

Champs on MH and TG F A380 is Dom 2003.

Shame to say a bit over it but, would be nice to try something else.

I prefer Krug, so will differ in that way.

QF Tattinger is also a favourite

I concur with Cove about helpul staff

It will only clear with staff assitence with some gently pushing within 7-10 days of departure

I had a confirmed QF 127 to HGK in F A380 then CX to CDG to ensure a OW firm booking

Also had a J class on SG SYD SIN CDG as well in case waitlists never cleared

A privilage to have that many points to cover ones options!

LH bookings I aspire to will be with SG points generated from WBC Altitude.
I expect only some availability within days of travel, so best to have a firm booking elsewhere and take chances on late LH release!

Would like to hear from anyone who has done LH A380 and FRA F terminal

I have also seen LH A380 in JNB so that might be a good route via Europe (FRA) if one has time on way to SA??

Hi infinity,

how do you earn so many altitude points? Do you use it to pay the ato? If yes I suppose it's full points earned on the Amex?

Best F A380 so far in order

TG
MH
EK
QF
EY (they would beat QF if they had A380)

Just to confirm - you're looking at booking LH via SQ?

That makes me happy to hear - I've got TG A380 F coming up next week, BKK-CDG :-)

My list is as follows - I've included all F though as only experienced two A380 F so far:

SQ A380
QF A380
TG 77W
CX 77W
TG 744 ("new" seats, not suites)

Adding TG A380 (as noted above) and OZ 744 to the above list on next week's trip (plus two more TG 744 F flights).

Unfortunately, I've never flown F on LH however, after reading countless TR's of all airlines over on FT - I have no doubt that LH and their F terminal is top of the pops.

Enjoy!

Fingers crossed it opens up.

Have options coming home on 2/9/13 out of SPU via FRA to SIN to try to get the LH terminal and flight, rather than SPU ZAG LHR SIN SYD with the LHR SYD on suites.

Tough problem but will give me lots to work at while sailing the Dalmation coast ;)

I don't seem to be able to manage my suites booking :(

When I click on it from the 'my bookings' page it does the loading circle then just stays on that page. Wanted to select seats as that was broken when I booked too. Anyone else had this?

Suggest you call them.
I had a flight I could not access today and it got fixed by the operator in a few seconds as the flight had changed.
All good now.

A bit OT for this thread, but seeing as it's been discussed in here over the past week: is there anywhere online where one can check LH/LX F inventory bookable via KrisFlyer? Or does it require a call to SQ?

My Way :

First check the Kris Flyer site - if no seats ring the "Singapore Girl". Sometimes it can help to ring several times - often seems to vary with the skill of the operator.

These days I avoid calling the 13 10 10 call centre altogether and ring Singapore centre directly for all inquiries. Number is +65 6223 8888. Things resolved quickly there and so far never had to ask for a call to be escalated.

Good grief - you are in Sydney TKK - much cheaper way to do it is call 02 9350 0203 - that will divert straight through to Sing and you are paying for local call.

My mobile plan includes international call so it hardly cost me extra but it does sound a little extreme :)

I always thought the 02 9350 0203 number is only for account-related stuff. Will give that one a go next time.

Thanks - I think you might've missed that I was looking for a way to search LX/LH F inventory via SQ though - no partner awards on the SQ website.

Try the ANAtool, ie via the ANA website. You need to signup for ANA membership. Then follow the instructions documented elsewhere in this forum - http://www.australianfrequentflyer....hecking-star-alliance-availability-41400.html

I don't think ANA shows LH/LX F anymore. I think Expert Flyer (paid) shows LH/LX inventory.

Thanks guys - but now I have two conflicting pieces of info :-) I have both an ANA account and a paid EF account - I'll do some test searching but obviously it's hard to know whether seeing nothing means "doesn't work" or "works, but nothing is available". Anyone else want to chime in one way or another to help narrow it down.
