Indeed - you chose the quickest, simplest and most sensible route:Cruiser that welcome seems to be almost standard in SIN suites. Never ceases to amaze me how great the service is. A few weeks ago there was plenty of availability in R from SYD to FRA for the dates I was interested in (Sep/Oct). Now the only availability is "waitlist". What are people's experiences with wait listing? What are the chances of them coming through?
I will be canceling one such trip (2 pax) in the next month or so. You'd never know your luck.
They may return to award inventory. Or may not.
