I am the furtherest from a goody goody but I would not be trying that - I think you need to draw the line somewhere - but of course your choice.

We just go one in Saver and the second in Standard. Next Suites run is for London next month. This way we are both in TPR.

FWIW, the 'guest' had a look to see what the TPR was like and then walked out - nothing was consumed.

We were happy sitting in F lounge anyway.

Yes, it would have been 'a bit much' if double dipping had actually happened.

Oh ok I understand now - SQ are very protective of their premium products and pax who pay for them - comm tix or rdpt tix - they just would not allow anybody who is not actually the rightful holder of a R or F BP to use facilities in TPR - girls on desk know every pax name and flight off by heart the minute you enter - but they certainly would not have a prob with a 'look around' as you described.

Flying SQ221 tomorrow night, confirmed in J, wait listed into Suites.
Nothing yet.
Is there any hope it could come through at check in?

Arrived back to sydney today, very happy with SQ First class experience. Syd - sin - HK had experience 3 different first class. New F , OLD F , A380 Suites. Flight attendant services was the most impressive.

And its time to plan the next Suite saver :) Thinking of tokyo , which route has more chance to score TWO F redemption ? narita or haneda ?

We managed to get 2 Suite savers SYD - NRT, travelling Nov last year. I booked them about 7 months out. From memory I don't recall there being an a380 on the SIN - HND route, so had to travel to NRT if we wanted Suites.

NRT

I think there's only 1 flight to HND, and it's quite popular with business travellers due to being much closer to the city.

The miles required to NRT is a bit "excessive" in that you don't need too many more to get to Europe of USA.

I'm booked in for June with a overnight transit in SIN so I could get suites on the second leg too. Not sure if the night flight to NRT has the new F or not. looking at it Id be quite happy to try it out, but since this will be my first suites experience I decided to maximise my time on the A380.

Just wish TPR had a bit of flair like the the QF Flounge or Virgin Clubhouse in LHR, even the new CX Flounge with their private cabanas.

Just came back today NRT-SIN-MEL. Old F to SIN and new F to MEL. So i think the Suites are on the night flight from NRT-SIN.

Yes you can book redpts for your nominees - if showing available you can grab it / them and no reqt for you to accompany nominees on that particular flight.

Yes it is very allowed. In fact I am always offering myself to be a nominee from good folks like Cruiser Elite and Cove but to date, no luck :( ;) :D
