It's interesting how nearly everyone here is able to justify their own behaviour.
Most of us are familiar with the doggy bag concept and it popularity in the US for taking home leftovers off your own plate. At the buffet breakfast at the Hilton SFFD recently, I saw a number of people after their breakfast request a "doggy bag" or two, and fill them from the buffet with anything from salmon and cold cuts to bacon, scrambled eggs and pastries. Yogurts and fresh fruits were a bonus. In other words, two or three meals for the price of one. No wonder buffets often appear overpriced.
