[*Testing Complete*]Need a few beta testers for a QF Points Calculator iPhone App

Just brought the paid version too.. looks great.. no problem in paying for a great program...

but any reason why JNB is not in the list of airports ? Should the list include all Oneworld served airports ? PLZ (Port Elizabeth is missing also).Just based on my upcoming Oneworld flights.

Try again. Random character in Database causing error.
Its not in autocomplete - but it is in the database.

Just bought the paid version - always good to see and support fellow Aussie iOS developers.

A couple of suggestions:

•Allow multiple-stop entries to have different travel classes for each sector. For instance on an upcoming ACIR26 I've got flights in Y, J and F depending on the equipment operating each sector, which needs me to enter the trip as several separate routings for each class.

•As an alternative to the above, perhaps the Search History page could summarise the points and SCs for all flights listed in the history? This way I could enter the sectors separately then switch to History to get the total calculated points and SC earn.

•Save FF status level between queries (even if you're using the New Route option). Whilst class of travel might change between queries the user's FF status most likely won't be changed once initially set.

•Purely cosmetically, when showing the Advanced Options perhaps scroll the view so the advanced options are displayed automatically, as otherwise it is difficult to notice that the view has been extended to show the Advanced Options section.

Thanks for the really useful app - it has already replaced my Status Credit Earning Table bookmark for planning optimised AONE* and ACIR* fares.

I was lucky enough to be a beta tester.. however i sadly lacked providing feedback as i was caught up with a work project.

Anyway I shall be buying the paid version as i do like what tuppaware has done with it.

Thanks for your input jamesatfish .

I'm off to WWDC (ie big apple conference) in June - hope to hit up a few experts and ask a few questions to improve my app ;-)

Let me know if you have time to meet up for a drink sometime during the conference or if you need a keynote queue buddy - always good to meet up with fellow Aussies over there and even better a fellow AFFer!

Don't fly near as much as I would love but have bought your 'paid version' in hope and support of your efforts. Looks great

Happy to have just loaded the paid version after testing the beta. Great work!!

I was going to go to WWDC, but was too slow to buy a ticket. :-(

I also was too busy to provide feedback on the beta, but I've just bought the First Class version, and it looks like a fine piece of work.

Good luck with it: I hope you get enough sales to make continued development worth your while.

Just bought the paid version, great work Tuppaware.
It was also a pleasure to test the Beta :)

Tell me about it! By the time I got to my Resources department all the tickets had sold out. But I had applied through the AUC to get a sponsored position - got to love working for a uni.

That's how I went the first time -- yes, AUC is great.

Will you do any YUPPs in the US? If you really wanted to extend your app's functionality, you could try hooking it into ITA for fare information and turn it into a tool for finding good YUPPs for QFF SC earning. But maybe that's too ambitious.

No YUPP's this trip because lack of time and i'll be two weeks out from my renew date. But then I am back in the US again in July where I will be doing a few - sfo-lax-sea runs ;-)

Excellent - have download the economy class version, and will give it a tryout!

(Not sure why the installer asks for permission to take photos though!!!)

The framework I use accesses all the major features of Android by default through Javascript- In my eagerness to put out the Android version I forgot to remove the extra settings in the config files ..

It doesn't do any harm, I'll remove them next update.

Looks like this needs to be updated for the changes to the QFF program, i.e. bonuses and earning on Jetstar, etc...

Already done. More notes : Frequent Flyer Calculator
Its a bit complicated as the changes only happen on QF flights.
As the app doesn't know what airlines your on it tries to guess.
Currently any flight leg starting or ending in Australia will be classed as a QF flight - at least until QF confirms that the partners will earn at different rates.

I have also included a link in each calculation to show the sc's and ff point earns before 17th of may would be.
