Now confirmed delivery on 29th. Will be used on crew familiarization flights between Bangkok, coughet and Chiang Mai from September 4 through to September 15. Thereafter, the A350 will be deployed on the Bangkok-Melbourne route.
 
will it for both plane TG466/465 and TG461/462 ??

No only 465/466. 461/462 needs the 2nd A350 which is still a month or more away.

Reports on FT that A350 being retained on MEL-BKK route for the northen winter season.
 
Handover completed for first Thai A350. Second aircraft around a month away.

A350 confirmed for MEL-BKK (both flights). Appears to be permanent, or at least until the end of July 2017.
 
just checked my December booking, and its changed to A350 :-) with 12A seat :-)

Really looking forward to flying this in Dec/Jan, and the cabin styling looks great. Hopefully they implement the new dining concept they are using to Europe on the Melbourne route too.

Thai website now showing 777-300 for our flight next week, but seat map is for 77W, so still have flat beds.

This is confirmed by airlineroute: Thai delays A350 Melbourne debut to late-Sep 2016 :: Routesonline

TG465/466 to be operated by 77W until 23 Sept, TG461/462 operates with 777. Guess this might be a rolling thing until they get approval. Would be nice if they replaced all A359s with 77Ws, but not sure if they have the fleet capacity?
