I like to make it all work. Best Portofino and that magnificent Italian coastline.

Worst . Solwezi.

Best - Berlin. Absolutely amazing, spectacular in so many different ways. Culturally and socially I guess it suits me perfectly.
.

Hey Berlin is definitely in my list!!

So are the airfares out of Frankfurt

Best Orange Co. California, could easily live in the OC.
Worst :New Jersey, the smell of oil refineries and some dodgy areas just doesn't do it or me

Best Miami - I love it there and will move there within the next 4 years.

Worst Paris. It's a dirty filthy dump!

Best: Malaysia. Feel more at home there than I even have in my own city! Looking forward to moving then when I have more control over my career. Been back a dozen times or more, well aware of political and racial issues but still keen to give it a go.

Worst: well, I can't say according to the rules of the OP. Let's just say Florence is a close second; I don't like art so I found this place just had nothing at all to offer, other than overpriced and substandard accommodation and food.

If I did not know better, based on your appreciation of Florence, I would be steering well clear of Malaysia.

I've never been to Malaysia, but I did enjoy Florence for a 36 hour stopover.

Like: Amsterdam! And no, as I'm drug tested multiple times a year it's not for the reason you're thinking! I find the Dutch quite friendly people, and Amsterdam is a small, pretty city that you can spend hours strolling around.

Dislike: Lisbon. After traveling the rest of western Europe, it irritated me to travel to Lisbon and be offered drugs constantly as I was wandering around.

Worst: Port Moresby...feared my safety.

Best: Various but I do like NY

Luckily this world is big enough so there's something for everyone :) I really enjoyed Florence ... for about 2 hours. Then I started wondering what I was going to do for the next 2 days. Later on I had to transit through there again, and spent the time catching up on laundry (luckily the second time around I found a fantastic hostel outside of the city).

I know more people love Florence than hate it, and I know more people hate KL than they love it. You just can't help what you like :)

Best : Venice, both Winter and Summer, great restaurants in the little lanes and good coffee

Worst : East Berlin and Dachau the next day....very depressing

Florence is amazing. Apart from being the intellectual capital of the old world, tuscany is close by!!

Did you manage to see David?

Worst: Venice... boring for anyone under 30.
Best: Cordoba or Bergamo. Both underrated cities with great history and architecture. Love the Muslim influence on Cordoba.

Best, MEL or SYD F Lounge, means life is getting better in just a few short hours on a plane...

Worst, MEL or SYD luggage belts (int) means I'm home again :(
