Yes the back of the envelope or drink coaster calculations show those figures are going to be way too low.Using 16+ as the population - makes no sense to use anything else, I think we will reach those figures at the end of September.
By the end of the week 11 million doses will have been given
At an average of 1 million doses a week, that we will be very close to this week, means that by 20/12 32 million doses will be given.
That is equal to 64% of 25 million which is close to the population of those aged 10 and over.
So probably that could mean 55% fully vaccinated and 73% with first dose.Which should mean everyone >40 would have been able to be vaccinated unless they chose not to be.
Doses given per week should be able to easily exceed 1 million as the supply will be increasing from now.
