I hadn’t heard of the Quinine reason - for me it was about G&TDo you reckon this is in response to everyone wanting G&T or the quinine thing?

Is that to remove the fingerprints? I notice you haven't mentioned that Mrscove 'seems nice' for a while.Did a full wipe down with some 99% effective wipes of all the stuff we have been touching....
Time for chocolate....
First hand experience in my case as I am isolation with a Collingwood supporter.
Got an email from Coles advising that they think they will have the ability to prioritise the needy and re-enable their Coles Online delivery portal by the end of next week. I'm sorry but that is just pathetic. I get that they are under great strain but this is a little more than a nice to have, you have people isolating right now and you reckon it might take a whole week to find a way to mark certain people as being high priority and as a result, you'll not allow anyone at all to make online delivery orders.
The worst part is they're pretty much the only sector doing well out of this whole debacle. How many people who should be isolating will be running to the shops in the meantime to get what they need and infecting others. Is this not obviously an area in which we could very easily avoid further damage being done?
When did you apply ? My husband applied yesterday and we are waiting on a result ?Try WW. It may be my age as well as the isolation thing, but I applied for their special dispensation on deliveries and received an OK by SMS this morning. Went on line, placed an order (including tonic) and it will be delivered tomorrow.
Me too, thankfully. Got the confirmation about an hour ago. I am pleased with how efficient WW have been. I'm still filthy that Coles would send out an email saying vulnerable people (I am not talking about myself here, I'm talking about all of those who rely on their delivery service) have to wait another week in the midst of these lockdowns, and then go on to spruik the nice big dividend going out to shareholders.Try WW. Just wonder how much the WOW delivery charge is - did they say?

Bbbbbut I need bread too!@Pushka plenty of tonic at Woolies North Park this morning. If you're brave enough!
It's kinda moot now coz it's stopped. It's on a sliding scale depending on how big your order is. Starts at $15, goes down to about $9 if you order $150+ and $6 if you order $200+ I think?
Day 5 and we're both a little snarky. Our neighbour came through with a delivery of ALFOIL because that was an unanticipated inventory failure. We did a decent amount of gardening today, with myself weeding and my husband butchering a couple of trees (he calls it "pruning"). The cat has begun to take our presence for granted. I got two inches of knitting done on a jumper I'm making for winter.
Day 6 and the states are closing borders and it looks like the abbreviated AFL season will have to end after just one round. Even though I thought it was insane, I was really looking forward to the start of the season, and its failure is making me feel even more upset. Tomorrow I turn 50 and though I know MrSuze will do his best to make it feel like a happy day for me, I just want to cry thinking about celebrating such a milestone without my loved ones around me.
