But serfty has 5A.
Looks like he is sitting on the wing.
Only long-haul QF aircraft with 5A, and it's not in J. Seat Maps for the Airbus 380 | Qantas

Got it. Thanks. I don't bother with config details and serfty was being very cryptic but I should have known....Looks like he is sitting on the wing.

Nice upgrade. After stuffing you around you deserve some love.Sorry - I'm feeling cryptic this morning ...
There are four configurations of aircraft that Qantas use transpacific, three are B744 and one A388.
Of the B744 configurations only one has a row 5 - it does not have a seat 5A!
Can you fly a plane? Not getting any opup love lately, but booked in F there's nowhere to go. Crew bunks perhaps?

I'd consider a crew bunk to be a downgrade from Y ok maybe not the pilot ones behind the coughpit but the one under Y most definitely a downgrade.
Apparently on the 388 they're a fully flat bed, rivalling first in width and length, so I was told...
No beeps boarding QF127 today...thought travelling on Good Friday would assist as it looks pretty full!

That may be, but you've got about as much headroom as a coffin in the main one downstairs. The one behind the coughpit is quite nice actually, couldn't mind that one.
