Did see a reference to it not long after I posted that the 737Max was doing hot n high testing. As it turned out that flight only flew down to close to the NT/QLD/SA border then turned and head NW again landing back in Darwin.

Also at KUL, here's an airline I had never heard of before: US Bangla. According to Wiki they have a fleet of 3 B737.

This is surprising. I thought that Japan had taken delivery of their replacement 777-300ER already. I wonder if these planes have come here for disposal?

Lockheed Super Constellation arrived on the back of a few trucks into Longreach yesterday arvo.
Was trucked from Townsville after being shipped from Manila.

Good news for John Travlota fans.
I hope they set up the interior as it was as a passenger airliner, unlike the 707 on display at Longreach which is nothing more than a flying apartment for some Sheikh.

Whilst I am led to believe that the Travolta owned 707 is to be retired, not sure of the reason for the comment?

Apologies you are correct of course. The pics of the Longreach surroundings reminded me of the 707 located there and thus the JT connection. I used to watch the Constelations crawl over Sydney flying into a stiff westerly.
