Following on from Ozbeachbabes earlier post.... Got to love an airline that does this ....that was our flight ARN-LGW... first time on Norwegian....and exceeded the admittedly low expectations I had by a wide margin.

We have a good friend who has just started flying for Norwegian. He's very much enjoying captaining a 787 all over the place after years flying BA146s out of London City. Then there's that Catalina he also flies...

Not often you see an A300 (or is that a Mahan Air A310 in pic 1) nowadays...
Whats happening to the engine? Looks like they have the cowling lifted and a close look reveals the same on the other side. Maybe they are checking the oil and water and will do the tyres next.

I realise this question could be posted in the 'your questions' thread, but given it relates to aircraft registration I thought Id have a crack here first. Does anyone know what the registration number is for JQ57 is? Departing from BNE-DPS. Having watched a documentary on the Dreamliner I am curious as to weather it was manufactured in Seattle or North Charlestown, South Carolina.

Thanks in advance.

It doesn't appear that JQ57 is running today... yesterday and Thursday is was VH-VKH

Taxiing out last Friday morning, we passed 4 C5M Super Galaxies at HNL.
They were all from 60th Air Mobility Wing at Travis Air force base, north of San Francisco.

And if you do go to Oahu, the Pacific Aviation Museum is certainly worth a visit. You will even see an RAAF F111!!!!!!

Spotted at LIM on the 12th.
Air Force 2 with 2 X C-17 support. VP Mike Pence was in town.
Apologies for photos, on phone only

AF2 is very forgettable compared to AF1 or even the C-17s. However the size of the VP's motorcade in Melbourne in 2016 is hard to forget (can see it on youtube).

One year in SYD I saw a 747 with the distinctive blue and USA markings, which turned out to be one of the E-4B Nightwatch NAOCs. Easily mistaken for AF1. The NAOCs and AF2 may potentially be replaced by a single type in future.
