One would think it's a little more important to get those that have to travel to SYD, organised first

Perhaps they'll lay on a Limo for you instead, sourcing availability for the Hummer might be a problem ;)

I've had no news on my flight since the original phone call.....get concerned! Hmmmm should take this long! :(

Indeed, it was not long ago I used to see the Queensland Corrections Hummers being repaired down the road in Albion all the time, seem they were as reliable as a 25 year old 747

Have you checked your spam filter for the email address in your QFF profile? I didn't receive another phone call but did get an itinerary with flight and hotel details.

Looking forward to Thursday. It should prove to be a most interesting day!

Same here - received the phone call yesterday afternoon and arranged for flights early Thursday morning ex-CBR as I'm in ADL tomorrow. Haven't received any booking details as yet but not greatly concerned - there are flights every 30 minutes or so CBR-SYD that time of the morning, and no possibility of a JQ flight either...

Scrimo, I think your flight details will be as below (as you are 1 of the 4 from MEL):

I spoke with Idylle a few minutes ago. She's confirming everything and we'll get e-mails within the next hour.

Nope, the flight won't be showing in our bookings because it's been done as a group booking with no QFF numbers attached. Looks like we're in the exit row chaps! Out of MEL at 1900 tomorrow, back at 1800. Transfers to/from the hotel are included.

There's four of us on the booking so I'm guessing so!

Good point Lindsay. Scrimo, if you're concerned PM me your full name as the PNR has the 4 pax full name details on it (we have no where to hide from each other ;) so I can confirm the flights at least then.

My first experience with QF staff travel bookings.

No seat selection, or online check-in. But an annotation of xx-MUSTRIDE ;)

EDIT: - Just saw the itinerary says attire is "Business".

I guess that excludes a "Cairns Tuxedo".......

Better leave the flip-flops at home I guess ;(

Happy to send you my full name but I requested a Thursday am flight as I am unable to fly out Wednesday night due to previous engagement.

Ahh that will discount you from this list then. Do we have 5 from MEL then?

If you are on stafftravel tickets, do not wear blue denim!

Just got back, and received my itinerary around 1pm AWST.

Thanks to the uselessness of the iPad alerting to unread emails in folders that aren't the inbox, I didn't know it arrived. Serves me right for having a clean inbox and filtering emails.
