Try checking in via mobile 12 hours before flight. No seat selection tho. At airport u should be able to use kiosk to change seats

Where'd you see the MUSTRIDE annotation?

Oh the attire comment was regarding the lunch - but thanks TheInsider for that info anyway.

And the MUSTRIDE annotation is visible if you check the booking using checkmytrip.

I just managed to check in for our flight tomorrow night. Even in an exit row it's given me a boarding pass on my phone. Go figure!

Anyone on our flight want to swap an aisle for an window? :)

The mobile phone BP option has recently changed where you can accept the conditions that you are sitting in a EROW. Been around for about 2 months now.

Well you 13 must be getting a little excited by now  - go on, admit it . dfcatch and thewinchester have the furthest to travel (CNS and PER respectively), so no doubt they'll have the longest to ruminate on what they are going to say and what was said on their long sectors.

I'll be at a lunch/seminar at Bretts Wharf for 3 hours at the same time, so the iPhone will be out under the table checking on the updates.

O/T
Still no call regarding my stretch hummer...
You need to be part of a bridal couple in Moscow for that kind of treatment .... (have not seen so many stretch limos & hummers as I saw in Moscow last weekend).

Well of course.

Now mentally, I was originally assuming that I'd just fly down Thurs AM, and back in the evening. So wasn't planning on taking anything, and just treating it as a day off.

Now with the commute the afternoon prior, I clearly have to take some hand luggage and have to grapple with the decision to take work along with me....??

See you MEL travelers on in the J lounge (or perhaps not - I'm guessing none of us know what each other looks like..). I'll be in a charcoal suit and blue shirt (yeah, very distinctive I know :)). Should be there around 6:20pm.

Not sure if I'll be using the accommodation - I spoke to Idylle late this arvo and said I'm happy to stay at home if she's able to cancel, but I'm not sure if it's been cancelled yet. Either way I'll have to head home at some point, at least to pick up a few things. Any plans for Wed night yet?

Cheers,
- Febs.

So you guys were able to check in? I can see my booking, but it won't let me check in ... Feels weird not knowing what seat I'll be in until I get to the airport tomorrow!

Fyi, BNE crew arrive 18:50 if there's any plans for dinner?

Just catching up on some of the posts, missed a bit of the chatter.

Have managed to link my booking so I can try the tag on poles for the first time, but won't be checking in just yet as I've asked for a change to a later flight home. Heck, who wants to sit on a 767 if they can avoid it (hint: not me).

Huzzah, for once I'm first - albeit with a dishonourable mention for longest to travel :)
1222mi from CNS, 2041 from PER.

On the updates, i'm tweeting under the hashtag #qfflunch for the event. Also have managed to to setup a live webstream for all the tweets last night in case anyone's corporate firewalls block access to twitter.

Sorry, what's a J Lounge

I'm on last flight out, so not getting in until after 10am and won't be joining you sadly.

Has anyone got more info from RedRoo or QFF about the event yet?

I know RedRoo stated that further information would be sent out closer (about the need for talent release forms etc) in the initial email. Haven't heard from anyone since then - suspect because I'm NSW based...?

Just thought I'd check with my fellow AFFers before sending off a PM

Haven't heard anything beyond "be there at 12". It might be worth e-mailing Idylle about this - I'll do it now if you like as I imagine you may not have been contacted by her since you're not flying.

Edit: Just e-mailed her :)

Thanks - much appreciated - don't want to embarras myself tomorrow! :)

Have things changed? I was told to arrive by 12:30, not 12.

P.S. Yes, I'm 1 of the 16.

Being Sydney based, I was never contacted by Idylle... So can someone confirm with Idylle whether the start time is 12 or 12:30?

Start time is 12.30, dress code Business, Idylle ( I thought her name was Ita ) telephoned me a couple of days ago in response to a PM

So it takes about 120s to cross [insert street] (as those lights can be a bit dodgy) about 100m up that road, cross there and another 150m... might need to leave the office around 12:25...

Hmm wonder if business attire includes a jacket given the warmer weather... Better polish those QF cufflinks...
