Not that I know of - AFAIK they don't really "Send them" - one day you find the renewal documentation in the PO Box itself. :p

Lol. True that. Have an international redirection. They didn't send me one last time I had a redirection and although I know its due end March, how much I will owe and what my bpay number is I would like to see an invoice...

That's about on par with CX regional J runs. Not sure which one is more "run friendly", i.e. positioning, hotels (or ability to avoid them).

YUPP runs still have the distinction of being able to earn near 800 SCs or so in a very short amount of time. Only problem is positioning really.

Domestic J runs in Malaysia do have the advantage of not going through all that immigration rigmarole. It also has the advantage that I can take advantage of them without changing much what I normally do!

I wonder if MH, though, will wonder where all these new business class flyers came from.

Turned on local TV in KL last night to see Armageddon on Fox movies, somewhat surreal scheduling given events of the last 24 hours.

They are very short flights; with no minimum points guarantee I thought that was a given.

I think this is one of the lower discount economy points earns for a flight I have seen!

Note to self, whilst in Malaysia remember Australians should not get involved in political rally's! I'll go shopping instead.

You can get a ride home if you do but that ride may be back ordered so you know you are not in charge of your travel schedule.
Saw from America that Our Treasurer is still fluffing his numbers but we got him on a plane so he can fluff in the air.

Really heavy traffic today.Mainly caused by people who bought a car that doesn't come with an accelerator as standard equipment.

Note to self. If you ask someone to do something and they do not respond then they do not want to help....

Finally starting to rack up some gigs again. Last year was a writeoff due to a few things that happened, so making up for it this year. So far Smashing Pumpkins (@ Wembley Arena) and Darwin Deez (@ O2 Shepherds Bush). Will be interesting to see how much of the old stuff SP play....

Can we expect a GR* for the SP show?
And don't forget to wear your GH&S** Approved slippers!

No PO Box renewal for me either. That being said, after many years as a loyal () customer - I'm finally closing mine off. I'm detaching from AU!

Well I used the normal bus to travel to MEL AP today, caught the 478 from Essendon station and then returned using the 901 to Broadmeadows station and then the train into town. Met a fellow AFFer doing a JASA as he travelled through MEL.

I can only say that the airport operators do everything possible to make sure nobody knows about this service and if you do find out about it you must be punished. It was hot today, about 35 degrees and there is absolutely no shade near the bus stop. Apart from a very small sign you wouldn't even know there was a bus stop there.

With a (Saturday) headway of 30 minutes (route 901 and 60 minutes for the 478 {last service 4pm}) this is unacceptable. Of course getting a Myki ticket is another impediment for international travellers to use what is laughably called a 'service'

The only good thing about using this bus route, I found was the justification for leaving the Tiger terminal where it is because there is a toilet and once you get there you can see the bus stop if you know where to look.

Of course Broadmeadows station doesn't have the best reputation for traveller safety and there is no signage to tell you what platform the city bound trains leave from. Still this is Melbourne and public transport is hated by governments of both persuasions so they do everything possible to ensure it is incredibly hard to use efficiently.

May be a fair estimation. But it can be because they can't help or don't want to be dragged into the middle of something where there are no winners.

I hate when you say yep I am good for that date and then it gets to a few days before and you confirm that it is still happening and they either say still not sure or already done or no will do it the week after.

Never picked you as a risk taker!

Did anyone in BNE or surrounding areas go to the Travel Expo at Southbank yesterday.

Thinking that might go today.

These are run by Flight Centre and their subsidiaries. Went to one about 3 years ago. No big deal...Everything on offer is purely for the benefit of the FC group.
