Pretty sure I have some older RAM lying around that I can send you if needed medhead, depending on what type you need of course.

When did people become so selfish?

Pull out in front of someone and expect them to slam their brakes on? Good outlook on life....

Maybe not, except if it lost one or both of its Michelin stars. Chefs have been known to be ruined or turned suicidal when that happens.

Stars are good however, feeling healthy after eating is better!

IME, that has been happening as long as I have been driving. But then, I am pretty sure I drive an invisible car....

Actually the older the car the less invisible it becomes. Why? Because you've less incentive to miss and if you've got an in car camera to prove what just happened well... ;)

It wasn't as bad. Now it is happening all the time. It is as if all the morons that should never drive, get in a car and think who am I going to piss off today?

What are the specs of the RAM you need?

That's part of the problem. Manufacturer Asus, says the MB takes DDR 667, 800 or 1066, but is rated for DRR2. I can't find the purchase spec or order but I thought I put in DDR2 800. BIOS just tells me 2GB.

Anyway, I need to dig deeper to find out what's in there to confirm but DDR seems rather rare and only at the 400 MHz speed. What's the word - obsolete?

Given all that and that I'm still running 32 bit XP, anymore work on it seems pointless.

A reason I miss my previous car and it's bullbar. Also the reason that flying to Sydney each week and walking to work is better for me than driving in Adelaide to work. ;)

AFAIK, the data rate of of DDR was only up to 400, thus the mobo saying it takes 667, 800 or 1066 means DDR2. (which IIRC is 1066)

And if you dare toot at them, you cop a finger out the window or worse... A little old man in a clapped out Volvo did that to me yesterday.

Well dont drive through Bundy.A car on your left waits, then pulls in front of you just so you have to brake.
