Turns out to be a sprain, nothing broken. Just a bit swollen. So yes, I can still type. But it makes me realise how much I rely on my left hand, even for lifting a glass.

Use a straw, that fixes the lifting issue and being a Friday night many drinks are served with a straw.

Anyone interested in Australian cricket these days? Is this the weakest Australia cricket team ever?

David Warner ~41 avg
Ed Cowan ~33 avg
Phillip Hughes ~33 avg
Shane Watson ~36 avg
Steve Smith ~32 avg
Matthew Wade ~37 avg
Glenn Maxwel ~10 avg
Mitchell Johnson ~22 avg
Peter Siddle ~14 avg
James Pattinson ~31 avg
Nathan Lyon ~13 avg

Not a single player over 50 avg and only 1 above 40. Is this really our future test cricket?

If only they were as strong as the currency

You must've given it such a good wind up that it realised you were ticked off and decided it wasn't going to get a second chance once you explained in minute detail what was going to happen if it got ahead of itself.

It knew it was on a death watch.
Sometimes it is hard to face the (grand)dad jokes, but in this case i will chime in and ask everyone to put their hands together.

We are in big trouble. If not for the tail Australia would not have made 150!

I am still struggling to understand the rush to get rid of Ricky Ponting less than 6 months ago as we had all this talent waiting to shine. And then bring back Mitchell Johnson as well. Extremely smart move.

Australia will do well to make this test last the full 3 days. And the good thing about the Ashes is England is struggling in New Zealand....

I think India was always going to be an issue. We don't have the right bowlers for their pitches and the Aussies don't do spin well. English pitches are a different story.

Cannot be number 1 in the world by winning home matches only.

If the future was the way to go and both Ponting and Hussey then Johnson was not the person to bring back. Throw in somw 18 year old and give them experience. Not a has been.

And Australia for a long time kept calling the Indians flat track bullies. I think we need to come up with a new term for our Sheffield players with over inflated averages because they are not cut out for test cricket....

Lyon gets two late in the session, plus had Tendulkar plum lbw (but not given surprise surprise).

Glimmer of hope.

Agree - how on earth would we "breed" spinners for Indian conditions when the first time our spinners play there is a test match.

And now 6 down and Aussies back in the match.

Is the cricket anywhere on free to air? Have Fox Sports but no digital.

Not sure what you mean by "Have Fox Sports but no digital." If you've got Fox Sports you should be able to watch it live. But to answer your question, no it is not on free to air.

Wow, just wow at the current UK weather. It's Spring yet there is sub zero temps and extensive snow.
