The totally off-topic thread

A few electives I had for LLB included take home final exams where the exam paper was given on Friday and the answers had to be returned the following Monday. So technically this is a 72hour exam! And of course I never had any assistance ;)

Plus our sit-down exams were of 3hrs duration and open book. Its not what you could remember but more of your application of the theory / principles to your answer.

Yeah all my Law ones have been open book, except for "History and Philosophy of Law" in first year, on which I employed all my bull****ting skills as I would in any BA exam. :p

I've only ever had 2 take home exams - one was for Contracts which was pretty easy, wrote it up like 2 hrs before it's due. The other was for Evidence - that one killed me, 11 000 words in 4 days.

And we are not even catching the Amex thread.
Is there any need to?

Are you kidding <mrgreen> <laughing> <rolleyes> <shocked> <confused>

We need to integrate one of those threads on FT OMNI where it's all .

Unfortunately we're limited to six graphics/emoticons per post, so that doesn't work out nicely.

Hey, there's an idea ! Post something that makes you go

I was hoping to get on the A380 to Los Angeles on Monday 8th December. Turns out my company is booking the flight a week before I have to be in Louisiana (9th), I bet I will end up on a **** flight  As long as it isn't Air Fiji I don't mind, but the A380 would have been good.

Was just on the QF website searching for flights.

A "new" feature is that apparently if there are less than 5 seats available for sale for a particular price, you will see that price with a flashing orange "Hurry!" word underneath the price. Hovering over the word "Hurry!" will explain this.

Needless to say many of the Business class fares are highlighted with the said word  "Buy me now or you will not be flying in J!!!! Muahahahahahaha...."

I noticed this while looking for a flight tomorrow . I was looking at a screen with hurry all over it ;)

given I have a recertification exam to complete before the end of the year, I am depressed anyway :(
Like wise NM :!:

I have an emergency check flight and a command instrument rating renewal before year end :!:

Much to much like hard work at my age.

At this stage no more exams but have to separately register in every state I want to work.Basically though it is just filling out a form and most importantly handing over the readies. But not South australia-what is wrong with that state.Red tape capital of Australia.Even Medicare are in on the act-want a copy of SA rego-every other state you just quote your registration number.
Still I was able to swear before the JP that i had never been convicted of murder or aggravated sexual assault.
No South Australian has the right to complain about LOTFAP.

Yes noticed this last night while booking QF specials SYD-BNE through to End of March. I managed to get most of the flights I wanted. Sadly I will not be at the front of the Platinum aisle seat allocation list considering the fare I paid....
