Had an insane thunderstorm yesterday afternoon here in BNE: strong, not quite cyclonic winds but heavy rain slapped our house from every angle. Power was cut from our area at around 1730h.

We turned in early last night with not a thing to do (except read with torches and candles, and listen to music).

Just woke up to use the bathroom to find the power had been restored. Thank goodness.....
