The totally off-topic thread

I saw one briefly yesterday about the booking engine but it seems to have disappeared. Maybe merged into the ASA thread. I'm not sure the fit together but who am I to disagree.
The website changes have nothing to do with the status of Any Seat Awards.

Clearly without any doubt....

Happens to me quite a lot but when i complain about it no one cares.

Just had to log on again (and get another point :) ) - Mark Webber leaving F1. Apparently going to race a Porsche in something or other. Shame to see him go but at least we still have Ricciardo who will hopefully gety moved up the Red Bull ladder.

Red Bull’s Mark Webber has announced that he will leave Formula One racing at the end of this season and join Porsche’s new sportscar programme in the World Endurance Championship and Le Mans 24 Hours.

Nah, you couldn't see that one coming...:banghead:

He's too much of a veteran to be Vettels lackey, surprised he stuck with it for so long to be honest.

I agree that he was very patient. I would have hoped that he would have had a drive with another F1 team for a season or two before leaving the sport.

I think Ricciardo is a bit young/inexperienced yet for a prime team drive. Maybe he could go to Williams and they could give Maldonado the boot.

Agreed. Would have been good to see him in a tier two team again. Its always better watching a top driver in a weaker car. My favourite driver for a time was Jean Alesi but then he joined Ferrari. Then I liked Frentzen but he joined Williams! Sadly Webber will be in the same category.

Well that wasn't a factor for Lewis Hamilton!

I think F1 needs a radical overhaul to prevent issues like team orders being a bigger deal than quality driving.

....Past a Maldonado on the left hand side......

Re: The totally cat thread

So golf - I found out yesterday stood for Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden at trivia last night...
Not quite true but that is one way of looking at it.

Ever played golf at ESK?
Esk the town in Queensland or ESK as in another acronym I have no idea what is supposed to mean?

I have been thinking of driving to Esk and having a game but scared it is a little too far for me to drive.

The town.. didn't mean to yell it at you its just a short word.
So trivia lied to me!! I knew all my answers were right!!!
We used to live opposite the club house and I learnt to play there and toogoolawah.
I've found it hard ever since to explain to non "country" folk that I lived opposite the golf course, race track and show ground ...
Far, its not far!

Far, its not far!
It is for me. Even with glasses my eyes hurt and makes for a very uncomfortable trip.

What I need is a good woman who plays golf and loves to travel. But I know I am expecting/asking for too much....

It's amazing what someone will love if someone else is paying for it .... ;)
