Rapidly losing the will to live.

Apparently my 7:35am flight to Brisbane was cancelled at 6:35am this morning and I was put on the 7:05am flight without being told. (Notifications only sent if cancellation is at least 2 hours before flight) Get to airport at 7:05am and cannot check-in and I am told I missed my 7:05am flight. (I had to laugh). I was clearly on the 7:35am flight and used OLCI anyway. Next best they can do is 8:35am which means I will not get in to work until after 11:00am.

I should have just gone back home and asked to be put on this evenings flight and taken an unpaid day at work. I think mum has just landed and dad has gone off to T1 to look for her.

This trip has just been another nightmare after another. I think some people are just meant to suffer all the time. At least horses are put out of their misery when they are suffering....

Aah John.
Look on the bright side of life sometimes.
Worrying about what is effectively out of your control is no good.

If there was a brightside then I would certainly try and look out that side. Positives are few and far between.

I know it is out of my control but I can't laugh off every single incident. It feels like I am someone's puppet and my life is meant to be miserable.

Excellent prices, I thought I got a great price for $18 considering places like JB, Big W et al sell them for >$50.

Even Aldi sold 2m HDMI cables for $7 last week and that is generally considered a very good price.
Try ebay for hdmi cables. Around the same price as Mak404matt's prices, shipped.

Is it just me, or is the Introductions section of AFF generating an unusually high number of posts today?

There is a guy in the BA MAN lounge committing all sorts of sins.
Biggest one is having a Skype conversation that is so loud you can hear it at the other end of the lounge.

You should have looked over his shoulder to say hello to the person he was speaking to. :-D

Well another generation of Royals is on their way:

The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted to hospital and is in the early stages of labour, Kensington Palace has said.

You'll notice they all go into labour, never liberal? ;)

Might pop over later and congratulate the dutchess once she has had the child. I wonder if she took on my suggestion of naming him (if a boy) Mal.

Whatever she names it, I'm sure she'll be content it's out. :)

I'm certain many female members of AFF can give some further insight into this experience.

Except without the feeling that the whole world is basically some number of feet away aching to know every nook and cranny detail.
