Does anyone remember when chocolate tasted like chocolate ?

The oily tasteless mess we are served up is an insult

Rant over, go back to what you were doing 

Head into the city and go to one of the two Noosa Chocolate Factory shops on Adelaide St. I just got back from there, milk choc coconut rough was back in store!! :D:cool:

Are they any good (the chocolate, that is, not just the milk chocolate coconut roughs)?

Would be nice to have some bona fide good chocolate made locally...

Well, depends ... ;)
Range of milk and dark chocolates. They are best known for their Rocky Road. Dark choc coated coffee beans are a winner in our house, and the dark and milk coated dried/semi-dried cherries are also a fave. Not easy on the pocket, so they are to be savoured! ($45/kg)

Whats wrong with Crest at Stafford on Webster Rd?

Was this in Adelaide too? Or Perth? (There are some real ferals in Perth, and a lot of lousy truck drivers)

"She and the others"... so there were others in the vehicle (assumed no minors), and none of them managed to tell her, "Watch out!" or "Pay attention to the <expletive> road!"

I'm not saying there is a certain satisfaction if her transgression resulted in her death, but one less idiot on the road means one less dangerous obstacle (an unpredictable one at that) we all have to face.

No between Brisbane & the Gold Coast and she was on her own probably texting.

I read about a girl in the US who's last text was

" I shouldn't text while driving lol it's da"

Not joking

Never heard of them ;) And I guess I regularly pass through the city so I'm biased to look for places there (or in the surrounding suburbs).

There are quite a few places which make nice truffles but hard to find just good chocolate.

I suppose that was the highway then, in which case I know now what you mean by the central thing.

And "the others" probably means other innocent drivers! :( Oh that's scary.

Actually I was driving to Beenleigh once and was almost taken out by a car spinning out of control coming in from my right and slamming into the wall on the left. Must have missed me by about 20 metres or so. Turns out they were running from police, so needless to say after crashing their vehicle, they didn't get too much further before being put to ground.

I did a Google and found a guy who died in a similar fashion with a not so obvious or comical text message.

P plater sailed past me on the freeway the other morning using both hands to eat a banana  Surely thats a one-handed job.

More entertaining than watching the obstacle course on the biggest loser though :)

Depends on your definition but most of them looked very fit to me

Oh they were fit if you use the English slang definition.....

Just noticed this ad from CSL. For some reason I think they need to look at their quality control processes!

Did anyone watch the 4 corners piece in Nathan Tinkler.

In my opinion it has raised more questions with me than answers.

I have to wonder where all his millions have gone...

I've just finished the AFR report in the weekend edition, I reckon there's a lot more to be told in this story.
