Flashback to the seventies, there's a bloke in the BKK J lounge wearing a beige safari suit with brown shoes. Even got the 70s style beard to go with it.

Scene: Melbourne, late 70's. A policewoman (complete with handbag) has just left a hotel after questioning a woman. A guy appears at the door from the inside.

Guy: What was that all about?
Woman: Looks like they are cracking down on bad fashion on this series.

I have a problem with the new fad for krill oil.Usually taken by people who get very vocal about saving the whales.Harvesting their food though is quite OK.

Its the most sustainable fishery we have thanks to CCAMLR, even WWF give it a tick although I note they do get funds from its harvest which somewhat taints their view.

Oh, sort of on topic, but anyway. I was driving down the Calder at about 0800 this morning when right in front of me a QF A380 approaches low and slow and then turns right for final approach. Simply magnificent sight.

Trying to fall pregnant cove?

You do realise there are other uses for folic acid?

I dont know why I keep falling for the multivitamins and supplement propaganda.

Most are rubbish. Including, and not limited to, fish oil capsules, acai berry etc. Superfood? Not even close....

Well tomorrow sees the first BA A380 flights. There is availability for me to use 9000 Avios & 35 quid to book a quick turnaround. Do I do it?

Did you explain this to SWMBO, or do you have a yellow slip? ;)

Well... she hasn't replied to the email asking for permission. In any case I recently got 12,000 Avios from BA for a stuff-up on a recent flight, so that's more than paid for it anyway :)

I've never done anything like it and given I have the free time and it's so darn cheap, it's a great use of points I think.

These are the "test" sectors for BA's A380s, right?

You may have to bring her back some "compensatory gifts" :)

And we expect a little report :D

Indeed. I think the inaugural is tomorrow morning, with my flights being the 2nd return trip of the day.

I'm sure I can rustle something up. I am travelling in ET though. There was 1 seat available on CE (with CW seats) but I didn't really see the point!

One of these days I am going to find my brain.

And it is not going to be where I expect it to be....
