Another Ekka gig come to an end?

Didn't make it down this year.......told the kids it's Disneyland at x-mas or the Ekka - no way I'm doing both!

The end of another Ekka indeed. Was much busier this year I must say. wise choice on choosing Disney! there is no magic mountain at the EKKA...... ;)

Word up to the AFF'ers who I met too, some cool cats and always great to meet some new faces.

The weather did a lot of favours to the Ekka, which helps, I think the worse day was people's day and that was hardly bad. I will never understand why it finishes on a Saturday, cest la vie!

Which is of course why it changes next year to start on Friday and finish on the Sunday. Logical? Of course. But like most things in Queensland many years too late.

Really, that's news to me, progress at last! of course the change will jinx the weather to perform at its worst.

Speaking as a civil engineer, I hope your network of rails doesn't have any corners. Bends are preferred.

Of course, I was using the layman terms. Depending on context & local terminology I could be talking curves or bends. For changing tracks I could be talking junctions, points, crossovers, turnouts or switches.

Yep... Ekka dates to change from next year

Progress? Maybe. But judging various opinions of the show this year they still have no idea how to run an exhibition correctly.

Mal, you moved to the UK last year you don't need to keep reading Brisbane news,

I used to do weekly updates on my move to the west but I guess I found more interesting things to do, which includes not reading news from Brisbane. :p

Maybe there is a limit on how many times you can walk across London Bridge.
Bundy Bear you will get pretty warped if you start reading The West. Just count the booze adverts and pass on the news.
Mal is in good shape and he is almost single handed in keeping the wheels on London Transport.

While I was at work someone replaced my cute puppy with a swamp creature. Now she's clean
and I'm covered in mud...

There is plenty of interesting things to do. And I keep up with local news here as well.

Always interested in what happens in Brisbane and Australia. Brisbane times gives me a quick overview.

Have a look at my blog entry and see if you can help "Muswellbrook Aged Care and Hospital In a New Environment".
