The more time I spend on public transport the more I realise there is no hope for humanity.

The time for cleansing is close....

That does not have to mean that consideration, common sense and manners are left at home....

Totally agree. My job would be so much easier if this applies. Too many people expect PT to be exactly like their car.

People hardly carry all three of them when they fly; I hardly expect them to be carrying it with them when they catch the bus or train.

I've lost my temper at school kids before who lacked all three of those in spades one morning. Oddly enough, one of the patrons (or the bus driver) told me to calm down! An angry phone call to the relevant school's principal posthaste that same morning followed.

You really are a glass half empty kind of guy aren't you.

I am catching public transport every morning and night and I guess it beats walking 5kms to work each day,

Sometimes you have a choice, unfortunately I don't but I find most of the passengers ok, and just laugh at the annoying ones.

I had a good laugh on the MRT today. Guy standing at the very front. Thought he was the speaker.. even did the beep beep beep. Haha. Mrs Flashback and I had a good laugh!!!

Well... takes all types!

The last time I rode the SIN MRT was rather tame. Unless having to ride in a crowded car is worth an interest. :)

When do you fly back home? Enjoying the sticky weather?

That is the way you see it.

Am I expecting too much? Obviously it is way too hard for people to consider those around them.

And lets not forget that we are all different. What you consider acceptable I may not. When in doubt just twiddle your thumbs. You do not need to be doing something every single minute of the day.

Don't get me started on SIN MRT.

Some of the people there have got to be the rudest people i have come across in the world. People waiting to get on the train either side of the marked lines to allow people to get off the train via the centre. These low life scum who hang back and are not in line then rush when boarding starts pushing past all the people that have been patiently waiting.

And don't give me the excuse it is because of the barriers they have had to climb all their lives.
