Service? Awful.

I had a few bets the other day. The "male" serving was throwing the tickets and change at me. I really kept my cool and "he" was extremely lucky he did not get a serve from me.

I hate bar staff with attitude....

Yep.. The skinny guy with the attitude & constantly making smug remarks to his colleague whilst serving customers.. no doubt ?.. think he should be better suited to cleaning the dishes.

I received a very welcome text message today from my favourite fairy godmother

Then I went to visit a dear friend and cousin who's partner (aged early forties) has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive and untreatable brain tumour.
It's all about perspective isn't it ?

That's sad. We really need to enjoy it while we have it, never know when it's going to end.

I thought all my rostered times disappeared in the calendar on my phone. 15-20 minutes later, I worked out that I was looking in October, not September.

Compared to some, I've got nothing... LOL.

BYO BBQ ;)

And you call yourself an Aussie!? Shame on you!

I'm flying the flag for the Aussies in London, having bought a BBQ as one of the very first things to go into our new house ;) It's had some good use over the summer....

Who knew they had sunlight in London!

Yep, today has been a lovely day!

No doubting it is sad but it is only sad when someone close dies.

It does not really matter if you die. You won't remember anything when you are dead. What you achieved. What you didn't achieve. How long you lived. Did you live your life right?

Unless of course there is a life after death and you will be held accountable for your actions in this life....

I had hoped that you could believe my signature and during the 3rd quarter Fremantle were looking good.

There is always next year, I am here for 3 years but it could be longer if I meet the right person.

Is Ross Noble the thickest QI panel member ever?*

*This is not rhetorical he really is appallingly dumb and not even remotely amusing.

Definitely should not be in a customer service type of job.

I picked up my new sign for the backyard today. We had to go to Coogee. Because I didn't turn on Location Services on iOS7 since upgrading, I ended up in Bondi instead.

It was mum's biggest car trip since her stroke. She was rather happy to see the ocean. We went there & back straight away & she coped well (2 hours in the car isn't usually good).

Her neuro has cleared her for driving but I'm not confident with that decision for anything but a short trip.

Well, we laid some new lawn in our backyard today ;)

Glad to hear your mother is doing well.

Good to hear good news about your mum, erk.

Manly in the NRL grand final! :D

I seriously thought about cancelling today's trip to Thailand via BNE, SIN and KUL. But then common sense prevailed.

Now I am thinking about flying back next Saturday night and returning back to Thailand Monday. I wonder if serfty has a spare ticket he might not need?

Now to see if common sense will prevail and I find a nice Aussie bar in Chiang Mai to watch the game instead?

I could do with a few extra QFF points though....
