There are FF on the RFDS aswell

Anyone else having a coughola week..?

First, lost iPad.
2. Damaged Luggage
3. Now it looks like a fractured foot after a fall.. off to X Ray :(

Should have stayed home.

Oh no, hope you get better soon.

I had a bit of a heath scare the other day. I found myself in hospital on Saturday, but was discharged after a few tests.

I am back at work now (against medical advice). I cancelled my trip this week, but will be flying next Saturday. A week between hospital and flying is about as much 'down time' as I can muster.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Is work that important?

Interesting that the new AFF mobile app has been reskinned (well, at least for Android anyway).

Not too bad; bit of a shift in the interface.

Not sure about the new "no avatar" avatar - makes everyone without an avatar look like a clown :o :p

And the time I should be working feel like falling asleep.

Is it possible to be jetlagged commuting SYD-BNE?

And ads now too?

I got no ads. I am an AFF Gold member so I get no ads on the site; and I thought that consistent with this "no ad" approach, if you want to make full use of the app, you had to be a Silver or Gold member.

I am a gold member.

I notice you get a system notification every time you get quoted too..that'll surely drive some people batty.

First thing I did when I got the new app was check the settings (always like tinkering with the inside of things when I get them), then noticed the Notifications settings and promptly turned them all off (except alert on new PM).

10 hours?!?!

A lot to catch up!

Yes, surprisingly sober at the end as well, more talking than drinking :o

Nah half the time was spent remembering names and what had happened. Then the frequent toilet breaks...

The time went by very quickly. :)
We'd been sharing old photos/videos and collating names via a FB group, so names weren't a problem. Trying to match peoples current appearances with their photos was much more a problem - some people had changed a lot.

The 50 year reunion might shock!
Let's not even think of that milestone just yet. Most of us were mid 20's so a fair number of us should be alive. The Department Heads et al might be pushing up daisies.

From memory you havn't had a good run recently.
I hope that all is ok for you, our health is perhaps the most important thing we have.

When it comes to health I would prefer good health rather than money but I am reminded by John Spalvins saying " I've been rich, I've been poor.....rich is better".
Of course John Spalvins was a share market player who lost quite a bit when money was really money.

And ads now too?

I see what you mean now. Opened the app then and got a full screen ad.

I have Plume installed and I also see this kind of ad from time to time when I start the app (usually for some dumb game).

That sucks.... but I blame Tapatalk (and AFF has no real way to turn this off).
