Wide awake again at 5:57am.

Who needs an alarm clock? Going to make for an awfully long day.

Back at the specialist to complete testing (Little Miss couldn't complete them earlier in the week, got a headache from them), and disuss results with the Doctor.

Any bets on whether he'll make me cry this time???
(And really need to organise an appointment with another, not so much for a 2nd opinion as perhaps a better gelling with the Doc)

Just got off a flight to BNE and saw a familiar face, but for the life of me can't remember his name or where I knew him from. I think I'm suffering from post traumatic breakfast in a box syndrome.

In good news got a shadow on both legs! Bad news, I'm going to be in TSV for 4 days.

All the best.

Probably not one for the TR but I wasn't expecting to find out today that I was the rebound guy on the cruise. Oh well. Nothing was going to happen anyway.

Best wishes for the specialist visit Katie.

A little while ago has a RAAF MRTT go overhead the house heading for an international destination, I wonder where? Probably heading up to Singapore for the Air Show unless they are starting to do the troop transports.

Mr Plow better get his passport inspected or he isn't flying to Vancouver BC from SEA.

First flight as WP1 - Lost luggage. Game on QF, Game on!!!

This seems to support my impression with QF that the speed with which you'll see your luggage, or if at all, is inversely proportional to status .

Seems some of you are really unlucky :) :o

Let's hope you can be re-united with your luggage ASAP. I'm guessing this kind of doesn't get communicated to the P1 SST so they can expedite / light a fire under the right people.

+1 Katie, wishing little miss well

Best wishes for the specialist visit Katie.

+2.

Sounds similar to what my mum went through with me as a kid. You know Little Miss better than some person in a white coat but sometimes there's only so much personally you can do.

Thanks all, all good. Got a diagnosis we were expecting (ADHD), and at this stage no suggestion that medication is required. We have some baseline data, and can monitor going forward. Am trying to find some OTs and also looking at diet and other behavioural things we can do around the house and our life that will create less yelling and stress for all.

Plenty of parents and families dealing with worse issues out there, and I've been somewhat relieved since late last year when testing at school was indicating ADHD to realise it's not us or her, or both.
Interesting comment from the specialist today about the show on ABC last night, Kids on Speed (have not yet seen it). He said that when you are dealing with a child with these issues, you become dysfunctional yourselves as parents. I can see how that happens and what he means by that (stress affecting you and your reactions to the situation).

I'm not going to trouble the SST unless it doesn't show up by 5pm.

The lady Anne from QF at TSV was great.

Incidentally no CSM greeting but the WhY team leader on the flight up here was great!

All the best Katie. Look after yourselves too as a couple and that's a major achievement in itself.

I enjoy a show called Parenthood, which shows the challenges faced with a child with ADHD or autism? OK, it is a TV show but it does bust open some of the issues.

Sometimes the rebound guy gets lucky. Sadly not in this case but as long as you enjoyed that part of your trip does it really matter?

Best wishes to you and the family Katie. I watched the ABC show last night and was filled with admiration at the dedication of the parents and specialists on there. Lots of good research on behavioural therapy.
Good luck :)

This.

Make make sure you and Mr Katie look after yourselves.
