Speaking of Adelaide, a little birdie told me that the electric train service started while I was away.

For those of you with access to BBC iPlayer there is a really good show on the 747 that started at 21:00 on BBC2.

Certainly no secret. The Seaford line started some electric services Monday 23rd Feb.

Just don't ask Adelaidians about the rail shutdown to allow the works to proceed.

It's our office moving day. I am sitting on the stair entrance valiantly trying to protect a space for a removal truck because it's Clipsal race day here and the Eastern city is closed. And race goers want to take the spot. Surprisingly men with shaved hair and tatts, driving V8's are respecting my (ahem), borrowed orange witches hat and two boxes.

Telstra did the right thing and switched our phones over properly. Now fingers crossed waiting to see if our server fires up this arvo.

I've just crossed another thing off my bucket list. No more office moves.

Microsoft and hotmail have now asked to provide a mobile phone number to verify the email address, has this happened to anyone else recently.

Last day of summer but it will feel like summer for a few weeks more in Perth.

Not recently but I'm sure it has happened before. I can't remember whether you had a choice to go for email verification instead (i.e. use an alternative email address), or you can skip the mobile verification option (not very convenient for one to get this prompt when overseas with no roaming).

I know that Microsoft also ask for mobile verification (as an option - others exist) when setting up a Microsoft Account (necessary for installing and logging into Windows 8.1).

Has anyone started a 2014 motorsport thread in the playground yet?
