I received a retirement message from one of my suppliers during the week.

Sunshine and Oceans are calling me.....

Just a little note to say a big thank you for all your help and support over the past few years.

Once you start losing friends and relatives who are younger than you, it makes you think.
I have done plenty of thinking in the past six months. I began working on 1[SUP]st[/SUP] April 1969 and 45 years later, I realise that even with good health, I am unlikely to have that many years ahead !

So I am retiring – with time to share with those I love and time to travel and pursue those things which make me happy.

I wish you and your family good health and much happiness in the years ahead.

Best wishes

Rather well written.

A pleasant end to the afternoon. Swmbo found a bottle of champagne in her wardrobe, after forgetting about it for a couple of years.

The bottle is now chilling :D

Ive learnt that men in convertibles do not like being beaten by a girl in a hatchback.

Well Serfty will be happy, but Bundy Bear will be disappointed. Sitting watching the last half of the AFL, red wine in hand and nice to know I picked the winner but not the margin. Going to hurt my coughulative margin, but a win is a win...

A good night for my tipping comps. Only got the A league game wrong

I use my air fryer daily. I feel like buying one & taking it to work with me when on a shift at the depot.

That might mean getting a locker - haven't had one of them for nearly 9 years.

Where do you put your manbag?

It's been known to sit in a mealroom for weeks/months at a time in a bag rack while I've been on extended leave.

I haven't seen a locker as important because I don't always start & finish at the same location each day.
