Always fun when there is conversation on cough and then we get a Virga mention, which of course was read as cough by me

Well, google the spelling with an E using urban dictionary.

And yes, reading HVR's post was what reminded me of the sunrise yesterday when I heard the bureau talking about Virga.

The mind works in mysterious ways.

You might think about this virga again when next on your tour of the sky. Etihad to keep an eye on randy Residence passengers
Since Singapore started flying its A380s in 2007, its crew have been dimming the lighting, sprinkling the fine linens with rose petals, plying couples with Dom Perignon, closing the doors and. . . demanding they refrain from getting Virga in the sky.......

The Ethiad crew still needs to keep an eye on you from a peep hole. Your not alerted to the peep happening. The European regs required the observation hole as part of the certification process. Whole new meaning to Seatbelts please....

Is this meal for dinner too much?

1 pork chop, 1 tomato, 1 slice wholemeal bread, fetta cheese and 3 iceberg lettuce leaves with some olive oil and lemon.

I think somewhere between 500-600 calories or have I got it totally wrong?

There's up to 245 calories alone in the bread. Ditch it. Each more veggies..

Yes.... who can eat only one pork chop?

I've never understood the liking for pork chops. Maybe it was the way it was cooked at home (billions of years ago) where you would end up with this broiled piece of tough meat with fat on it. (Sorry Jessica, this description is making me rethink vegetarian also). Not that I am a fan of pork much these days anyway.

Slow day......

Bakers Delight - Hi-Fibre Lo-GI is 359kj (85.5 calories).......and it's white :D

Ah, blame google, it gave me the weight of 100grams and not a slice. That's showing as 128 calories.

Lo-Gi means low calories amaroo.

Wholemeal bread doesn't necessarily mean low calories, it just means less processing and more fibre.

It's the same reason why too much fruit juice (with no added sugar) has way too many calories.

i remember very very well the days at Ballymore when the queue for the wash basin was as long as the queue for the gents.

I almost mentioned that.... Ladies wandering in to the cubicle, men at the wall and wash basins with taps turned on full. Rugby Union, the gentleman's game.

I would starve if I only had 500-600 calories in a meal

It most certainly is ;)

The gentleman's game that is unfortunately played by thugs at times. Still love it but go the league state of origin.. So much fun and the jokes about origin of the species are so dated....don't even bother!

Saffa's to win..any way they can. Beautiful country.worked there for 3 months as a student while Nelson was still locked away. Hate to go they now. ANC is screwing the country for their own benefit.

I think the professional era has killed that off to a big extent. The last real thug I recall is Richard Lowe. Well besides school boy rugby. Besides mild interest in origin, I gave up on league during the super league debacle.
