I am reading your posts JohnM with immeasurable envy as am currently at 30K ft on US Airways flt LGA to LAX - via CLT - I was way too late trying to secure AA JFK-LAX on pts - memo to self - get thumb out of bum and mind out of neutral much earlier in future.

Speaking of which my poor uncle had a scare yesterday.

He went to hospital with abdominal pain, and upon getting some tests was rushed to surgery. Details are very sketchy about what was actually wrong, but I am told it was some kind of bowel rupture. He is not young any more, plus being post-transplant, and having an auto-immune disease, a lot of these things suddenly become very high risk.

I will hopefully get some more details later today.

Thankfully it looks like he has pulled through.

Given his medical history it will be a slow road ahead, but it looks like he has dodged a bullet this time.

Well, not in the most desirable of ways, Jess - but I did recline. (It was a fairly early flight.) The person opposite stretched right out. It's like the CX offering, so it will be good.

Ok another group to add to my hunt down list. So called scientists who write a commissioning report that is full of "normally, typically, possible and should". How about telling me about what you did do, the actually performance and what does happen?

Oh and the best one - it was conceptually similar to this other work. What conceptually as in they did a test and you did a test?

Look forward to hearing how I'm being unreasonable for expecting a statement of actual findings and compliance from someone being paid $3000 a day.
