I wish. I spent many a flight at in the last couple rows of MD-80's (in the last row the only view out the window is the engine) back in my AA non-rev days.

Yup, many flights to and from school in DC-9s and 727s in the 1970s - always sent down the back... (a bit like school )

The moon looked amazing. It doesn't usually look much like a sphere but tonight it was a glowing orange ball.

I resemble those remarks. My new car was driven into when it was 6 weeks old and th guy didn't even stop.

markis10, you might want to remove 50k from your post. It sounds like you're trying to boast but 50k is nothing for a car in this day and age!

$50,000 is quite a lot for someone when the last car they bought cost $4,500!

I don't believe in wasting money on a car that is going to be treated like cough by those that should not be allowed to own a car.

A 2007 Holden Commodore should just about be under $10,000 by now.

I had a brand new VF - not even 6 weeks old (I got one of the first delivered).

Had been stopped at a red light for best part of 30sec when I was run into the back of. "I didn't brake enough" was the reply from the driver who ran into me.

3500km on the speedo, off the for road 6 weeks. It was never the same. I sold it after 12 months.

I avoided a side swipe by about 5mm in the replacement VF at about the same age!

I think I'm jinxed with new cars!

Its there to prove a point, that is regardless of worth some people don't always respect property. You are also assuming it was recent, the last time I bought a new car was 2000, it was a SUV ;)

Point proven ;). I chose not to own a car now and the maths mean I am better off, and I am sure the climate thanks me as well.

Ive been hit twice at my gym. The first time a cab drove into the back of me. Didn't see my bright red car waiting to turn into the carpark. Second time a p plater reversed into my in the carpark attempting yo reverse park without checking his mirrors. Ignored the fact I was honking my horn, 'oh I thought that was someone else...' I'm very wary coming and going from the gym now.

Last time I had a brand new car was in 1984.

Car park dings are the worst. People just wham open their doors. They couldn't care less.

I have never bought a new car. I get my cars from a chap who trades his Lexus at 40,000 kms/ 2 years old so I get them at half the new list price. I am happy with a nice new second hand car over the last decade.

I've got a couple of those too... I would never do that to someone else, and hate that people think its ok to damage the property of others...

That's reassuring coming from you! Thought I was the only one here who doesn't get nice new shiny brights.

I bought a demo last week. They ended up dropping $5K because it had 2000km on the clock. Very happy with my 4 cyl. Honda Accord VTI-L

Obviously going to the gym is dangerous.
